Wyn, if it has RFT on the sidewall it is a runflat and will give a harder ride. The profile of 55 is very sensible. If it not a runflat then other RX owners will come along and comment I am sure.

Hi Steve, 1. Check your Handbook not the web. 2. if your GS450H is 2007, I would avoid large rims (19/20) and low profile (35/40/45) as they tend to give a hard and uncomfortable ride and can lead to kerbing the wheel rims. 3. My tyres are Kumho All Seasons at approx £85 each and on 225/50/17R tyres giving a smooth,quiet and comfortable ride. Do let us all know what you decide.

Welcome to L.o.c. Allan. Sadly yours was not a happy introduction, but there is no reason why you should not ultimately be happy with your Lexus. If I were you I would take the car back to the people you bought it from and request that they correct the dead spot. Tell them to negotiate the type of obstacle you hit in your car and report back to you.If they also damage the car (as you did) then they must accept that there is a dead spot and they must repair the vehicle to your satisfaction-- On the premise that they provided you with an unsatisfactory vehicle. Do let us all know how you get on. -

Similar in my GS too. T`was much worse than my N.A.S.A..... test when I applied for membership of the Mercury 7! (lol)
