You have been technically incorrect on previous occasions Mark and you are not being as helpful as you could be to members. Please get things right, do not waffle and do not rely on what others have said to you. If you do not know definitively, then say so.
Cut the bull**** and act responsibly.
And take the time out to see what you have said to me previously about "sealed for life"
I am in the process of replying to your last contribution to this thread Mark and I do not want you to be quiet about anything, but please be correct in what you say.
This paragraph has been taken from an Owners Handbook
●After exiting the vehicle and before opening the fuel door, touch an unpainted metal surface to discharge any static electricity. It is important to discharge static electricity before refueling because sparks resulting from static electricity can cause fuel vapors to ignite while refueling.
If your current Extended Warranty says this, then (f) says you can as I read it. !

Thanks Balan. Traditionally, the Lexus will give you different "difficulties" to the BM.......as you are obviously finding out!
Please contribute freely.
Thanks Bart,
I merely try to keep a watching on things Members say about their recent experiences with Lexus and Independents. My results are not based upon scientific methods and are subject to criticism. They are simply observations and can be deduced for themselves by any one who reads this Forum.
R.R.G.Group seems to comprise Stockport, Bolton and Bradford. I do not have any records of a sales outlet currently in Manchester.
Incidentally I think that you can group Mercedes along with Audi and BMW for poor/non-existent customer service..
Welcome Balan to L.O.C. following your period of observation and learning. It is good to hear from you.
You approach to purchase and ongoing maintenance and repair is most thorough and sensible.
Your views on changing the Transmission oils will be both challenged and supported by various Members and I will the jousting to them.
It would be helpful if you could inform us all why, how and where you bought the RX4OOh and what your current impression are.
Jemca Group, based in the South do not set the World alight with its Customer Service. Neither do the other "big boys" who hold Lexus Franchises.
You have Vantage,Montys (Sheffield), RRG Group, closeish to you and Montys is by far, the shining Light according to reports Bart.
There are others but not had/read any poor reports from them.
Pinkstones at Stoke and Lexus Hull both get good reports.
Thanks for the information Louis.
My wife was born in Newcastle and we will be up in early November, weather permitting.
I see that you have one of the last SC`s as 09 was the last year of registration.
Do enjoy what is one of motoring`s pleasures and contribute to the Forum as you feel appropriate.
