    Non whatsoever Nigel from a practical perspective. But you can still be asked to produce them and so in order to avoid a possible fine I always carry a spare bulb pack on my journeys to and from Spain, via France.

    That`s another great Post Peter. I think that we should all try to standardise the terminology we are using for component parts as it would (I feel) make it easier to understand Member`s problems. I will start by suggesting that the battery that is in the boot and used to energise the car`s computing system and bring "Ready" to the Dashboard is called 12 VOLT AUXILIARY or STARTER BATTERY, and the Box of tricks that looks after everything else is called THE HYBRID VEHICLE (HV) BATTERY. All other suggestions welcome for the discussion....

    When I came back from Spain in late November last year David, most of the (now) 80kph zones, were still marked 90kph !!

    Paul, just read above. One`s ticket on life`s journey was marked "single", so £20 per month can easily be wasted on less pleasurable things than an SC430. Just saying, old pal !

    Another Project completed satisfactorily and signed off. Congratulations Richie. Did I ever tell you that I`m aware of an elderly man who lives on his own, in a caravan somewhere on the North Yorkshire Moors, who wishes to dispose of his 460 ?

    "Thank you. All the lights seem to work when turned on. However the car just failed the MOT on 2 points. A damaged passenger side rear reflector ( near side) which I replaced today, and ‘rear fog lamp not working, offside rear’. We have had the car for years and the reflectors have never had bulbs in and it’s always passed the MOT. I’m very confused " For the avoidance of doubt and misunderstanding....reflectors do not have bulbs behind them They merely reflect light that is shone on to them.

    I learnt many years ago Paul, never believe what you read or what you think is implied in what you are reading. Always consider what is not being said too ! I am from Wirral and might be considered a "posh scouser" My great friend Terry lived in Menston when we met 44 years ago and he took me to play on his local golf course (not Bradford). Twas Ilkley I think and I thought I was being trained to be come a Sherpa !

    Eddie, I tried the first one and it was fine--just as if I had logged in myself on the Lexus.co.uk website. I merely wanted to know if it was possible to highlite the appropriate section of the Handbook and mover straight to it. I know of no reason why the Mods might object and I am certain that other Members would welcome your downloads, but of only the few in most demand.
