    You do not NEED one as long as you continue to use Lexus for Servicing and you check the electronic record immediately afterwards. I suggest that when this Thread is completed to your satisfaction, you keep a record of its contents so as to show to the new owner of your vehicle. or leave a paper copy in the Glovebox. Safe motoring.

    Cris, that is a wonderful post, thank you. You have taken a wide ranging view of tomorrow and the day following. Me? I am lucky enough to not be able to see "tomorrow" and in terms of Carl Sagan`s Cosmic Clock none of us alive today will get past 2 seconds to midnight that we are currently fixed at in the last hour of the last day,of the last month of the last years that have existed since the Universe began. Seriously, do let us have some more Posts like that one. Brilliant.

    Please bear in mind possible Insurance problems if one leaves the vehicle in a READY state as it is the same as leaving the vehicle with the ignition on. Always a good idea to sit in the Driver`s seat( and read the Handbook?)

    Never heard of him Pete, until now that is. A quick Google brought up a Goalkeeper a Golfer then I found him. A wonderful singer, songwriter and storyteller. Right up my street. Reminded me very much of my trip to The Lincoln Folk Festival in 1969 to see Tom Paxton and Buffy St Marie. And I`m not ashamed to admit that my wife and I sat and cried when we first heard Eric Bogle`s song for the first time in 1975
