I have a pal who is 6 foot one and in 1966 drove to San Sebastian in a 2 door Fiat 500 with his beother as a passenger, car fully loaded with Camping Gear and No air con.
It`s wat we did,den !
Lovely looking car Geoff.
Good to hear that you bought from a Dealer as if the problem persists, then ask the DEALER TO FIX IT AT HIS COST as he has Statutory Responsibilities for 6 months from the date you bought it.
Thanks for the update Raj. The outcome is better than it might have been and worse then you/we might have hoped.
The lesson however is clear. Ensure that all agreements/ arrangements are written down and copied to the Parties to the Agreement.
Glad to have assisted.
Hello Geoff and welcome to the L.O.C.
You have a really nice car and we would like to see some Piccies and for you to tell us why you chose Lexus, when convenient to you..
Did you buy it from a Dealer or was it a private purchase ?Always read the Handbook before asking questions as it often provides immediate answers.
I leave my air con on all of the time and merely adjust the temperature to what I want e.g 17 in Summer and 22/23 in Winter.
IS Owners will be along shortly to give you the benefit of their experiences.
Good decision and do read the small print and maintain close and good effective relationships with your Lexus Service Team. It can pay enormous dividends.
Paul
Some Members have LS models, 3 time that age and more, with 10 times that mileage.
And one of our Members has an 18 year old Merc with 12,5 times that mileage.
The moral is......keep the NX. 🙂
Hey, Paul, funny as I thought that was, please, please, do not start imitating young Linas. If you wish to do so, then PM each other so that we can remain out of orbit !
I am delighted to note that you two are getting along extremely well.Congratulations to you both.
Now if one of you cares about Cadillac President T might be about to trade in ........:) 🙂
