  1. Just ask the Dealer to replace the missing Decals and walk away if he refuses Pete.
  2. Yes Glyn he really does. I like his style and was impressed with his 2 LS430`s videos that I`ve seen. He is knowledgeable, but I don`t find him pompous. The fact that he does not appear to warm to everything about the SC doesn`t bother me one jot or tittle even tho` I am one of its biggest fans. He does provide a different perspective.
  3. Would an installed Dashcam not have provided some evidence Mike ?
  4. Good luck in your quest. A 40 minute drive in a Lexus is a pleasure and not a waste of time. Remember that most of Einstein`s progress was derived from his thought processes. Ask the Dealer from which you wish to buy to collect and return your car to you for Services. Lexus Bolton, Chester and Liverpool provide the service, so do not be backward in coming forward.
  5. Heaven forbid Len, that would truly be cataclysmic ! Perhaps the equivalent of Celtic and Rangers sharing the same ground ? Your views are to be more than just accepted, they are almost written in tablets of stone. As a General Rule however, I advise against the purchase with one`s own money of anything French, German or Italian. Traditionally, French and Italian cars have been styled to be attractive and alluring and in that, they have been largely successful. As far as Build Quality and Reliability however are concerned, they have left much to be desired. German cars have often looked formidable and to be built out of Granite (excluding G.M models),but have sold without items which have often been standard on cars produced by other manufacturers. Base prices have been high and so called extras offered at exorbitant prices.Build quality has been high, and maintenance costs have been expensive and their Dealer Networks existed in another Galaxy. At no point within the last 20/25 years or so have I seen any cars from these three countries appear in any U.K. National Reliability Survey at a point above the seventy fifth percentile. The man on the Clapham Omnibus, using his own money, wants Safety,Reliability,Comfort and Value for Money and for these has looked towards the Far East. If you had been blessed with buying Renaults which turned out to be reliable, then good on you.A sound Business Decision that turned out to be and that would,so far as I would have been concerned would have maintained your position, nay consolidated your position in my Management Team !🤣🤣👍👍
  6. Does the Premium have Tahara Leather Nico ?
  7. Yes Len, you were very lucky..... in not buying the Renaults.🤣🤣🤣
  8. I visited Lexus Chester this morning. I dealt with the paperwork to set up my new 10 year plus warranty to be effective from 1 October the day following the demise of my current Extended Warranty. For my MK3 GS it cost £582 for 12 months, payable in 10 equal instalments on an interest free basis. The paperwork for Roadside Assistance will follow as it did when taking out the Extended Warranty
  9. Me too Pete, but I always listen to car reviewers and then follow my own advice.
  10. I agree with your approach Ant. It works for me and means "win, win" for both Dealership and the Customer.
  11. Barry, I discovered this morning that individual Lexus Dealerships have the flexibility to charge the equivalent of former Essential Service charges for vehicles that are not covered by the current RELAX warranty. All the established customer needs to do ,is ask. I accept that this is not angled in the customers` favour, but if one dosen`t ask, then one doesn`t get !
  12. I`ve had my guess Ant, just tell us what you discover via an authoritative source. You could try Lexus Customer /RelationsServices at cr@lexus.co.uk
  13. I titled the Thread, "An interesting perspective" and I believe it was. I did not reveal that I had long been fond of the SC and have for many years longed for one. Give three or more examples of what you would call mis-quotes or mis-descriptions please.
  14. I guess the Black 3 buutton key Ant. Do tell us the answer if you receive an authorative response.
  15. Hills of Woodford are the Seller.
  16. I`m on your side Ant,my friend but, beauty does lie in the eye of the beholder.
  17. And I`d like to see the overall figure after 1380 miles !
  18. Watch Matt`s latest video.

  19. It is easier for a Camel to pass through the eye of a needle than it is for ..............
  20. And when I was in the market for my GS, TEN YEARS AGO Lexus Bolton offered to come to Wirral to collect and deliver at Service time. Going the extra mile is an understatement !
  21. Owners don`t, so called Journalists do.
