  1. She`s a real beauty Ryan, thanks. You must decide the best way forward for you. The deciding factor in exchanging a car is the cost to change. Everything else is redundant. Others will have their views,so do enjoy that cracking vehicle.
  2. Thanks Dave.Anice report with a nice message. It`s good to brag about one`s Lexus aint it ? Especially to one`s friends who have German rubb, oh sorry, cars. Take care and stay safe.
  3. Welcome Ryan.Nice to have you join us. Tell us about yourself and send piccies please. My initial thoughts, but others will come along soon. 1.Why think of changing it now? It will likely last 20 years and 200,000miles 2.Keep it and use Lexus Essential Servicing when it is 5 years old (cheaper) 3.You must have the Hybrid Battery tested annually at Lexus for it to be warranted for a further 12 months/10,000 miles 4. Consider taking out a Lexus Extended Warranty after your initial warranty expires. It will cover you for failure of Mechanical and Electrical parts until RX is 10 years old. And 2 M.O.T. tests and AA Membership.
  4. Quite correct Firaz. I would not recommend a Merc or its Dealerships to anyone. Second hand from Indies with fsh before end of 2009 are ok.
  5. One knows one`s plaice then ! That makes at least too of us.
  6. Do your homework my friend...https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls-3rd-gen-2001-2006/794168-this-is-really-weird-sunroof-opening-by-itself.html Have a great Christmas and New Year old pal. Do not forget to update on your researches. 50/1 on says it`s mince pie droppings:):)
  7. A warm welcome Alan. When you get the chance, tell us a bit about the car and yourself and piccies if possible. Do contribute to discussions.
  8. An informative and sometimes exciting exchange of views contained herein. I recall HJ describing the IS 250 straight six petrol as "the most reliable car on the Plant" My 2003 Merc E Class 220Diesel auto has covered just short of 1/4 million miles without any emission problems. It has its original Engine, Transmission and Exhaust System. There are both good and bad fuel systems with both good and bad maintenance.
  9. Funny that Peter, I initially expected The Boss to be Elvis, but now I`ve seen who it is, I understand.
  10. Welcome Martin. Why have you bought a Lexus? Where did you buy it from ? Piccies please. Do enjoy the Forum and do contribute.
  11. You are now a big boy Shahpor, so you know the answer already:):)
  12. A terrible state of affairs Vlad--I for one would not even consider them after reading that. Brexit is not the reason international Borders are closed Vlad and you did not know it but you have at least one virtual friend on this Forum who did vote for Brexit and you have offered to buy him coffee and a fish and chips luncheon and an ice cream pudding when he is next in Largs !!.
  13. Thanks Paul.We look forward to the piccies and your future contributions. Are you aware of Lexusworld.com where there is a plethora of SC Members?
