  1. Have your tyres been put on the wrong way round? Directional tyres must be fitted correctly.
  2. Many thanks Mike. ULEZ is leading many people to Lexus and as you may well know it is somewhat of a different beast to other cars. If you haven`t done so you must drive one soonest. The E-cvt is like no other automatic transmission and is extremely reliable indeed. The CT is not a Sports Car by any means and it should provide you with good fuel economy and extreme reliability. Ideal for driving in and around the busy South of England. I would only buy from a Lexus Dealer with a full Lexus Approved Service History. You should then receive a full 12 month (as new) Warranty. I would consider taking out a Lexus Service Plan for about £35 per month which will include an Annual Health Check on the Hybris Battery which itself is Warranted for 15 years from 1st Registation. Upon completion of your initial Warranty from the Dealer I would then consider taking out a Lexus Extended Warranty which for an average of approx £40 per month will cover you against ALL electrical and Mechanical breakdowns until the car is 10 years old or has completed 140,000 miles. That`s all for now, so do keep us informed of your decisions along with some piccies please.
  3. Bite the Lexus Dealers Head off (nicely).
  4. I really enjoyed that video. Never heard of him previously, but he tells it as it seems to him. Very good.
  5. Paul admits that he didn`t do any research. It was just that he asked others what they thought. Comparing British Leyland with Toyota is somewhat outlandish Adam I feel. The best thing about Rover 75`s was the wonderful range of superb colours they chose for the car. I often see a 52 Reg estate in what I call a Duck Egg Blue as I `m on the Rocade around Bordeaux as I`m motoring to Spain.
  6. That was a year after we won the World Cup and mine was having a de-coke !
  7. Sorry to read that Rich. Just price it to sell at 15% above the minimum you need.
  8. My first car Nick was a 848 cc Minor. Split windscreen, side valve, 3 speed, no syncro on 1st, no heater and no radio. Pure heaven at the time.0-60 in 2 weeks and 33mpg overall. on leaded petrol approx 2/6 a gallon ! Coat me £35 from a pal who bought it back off me for £ 22 and 10 bob. !
  9. 50 years or so ago in a Princess, you would not have made it Malc. Well done.
  10. The wife was left in an unlocked car so, one might ask why the alarm went off if the car was unlocked ?
  11. You little Tinker. Well said.
  12. I think that Paul was alluding to the recent productions.
  13. Now, how did I know that when I haven`t got wot you got Paul ? On the basis of what you wrote you effectively walked away from an unlocked car ! But Lexus wouldn`t let that happen would it ?
  14. Tis not Rocket Science and it exercises the mind too Vlady. Thanks Shahpor, I can ALWAYS count on you old buddy.
  15. Mine is same as yours Adam.`Tis a Cathedral indeed. We still await the evidence.
