  1. Neither would i Ed.
  2. Try Tony Banks of Leeds. https://www.tonybanks.co.uk/
  3. I would not bother with Fuji, it is any type of Red and legend has it that it was the introduction of water based paint which started the problem. So, unless it is one`s wife that wants it then my advice is steer clear.
  4. The Motor Industry as a whole has experience of fading red paint Davey. Avoid if at all possible.
  5. Google 10 yar plus and 150,000 miles Richard !
  6. Just resting Boys as not feeling too good at the moment. My views are akin to Vlad and John. Let`s retain Hybrid until 2050 and see how technology develops as the move towards EV is nonsensical when analysed in the current Global circumstances.
  7. I stand by my Posting. I am certain Martin. It is the responsibility of the Dealer to identify and correct at his own cost. Parliament has decreed under the Consumer Protection Act 2015 and it is not for anyone to ignore a Statutory Responsibility. If it is a Lexus Dealer we should hang hm by the short and curlies !
  8. Whether bought from a Lexus Dealer or not, if you have had it for less then 6 months, then it is nothing to do with any warranty which may have been provided. The Seller is legally obliged to fix it at his cost.Do remind him of his responsibilities under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and let us all know how you get on.
  9. DRL`s do not operate at rear of vehicles normally. Switch lights from AUTO and then check again.
  10. Very sorry to read of that outcome Martin. Sadly, there appears to be an increasing number of problematic matters being reported and arising with Lexus UK, their Customer Relationships Department, their Dealerships and their vehicles. Many, I am sure are soluable, but in the short to medium term might well reflect in the various statistical analyses which are printed within the National Press. I think that you ae right to move Dealerships based upon your experience and I`m sure that Memebers of this Forum will have their owen views on Lexus/Listers, Cheltenham. You are also right in my view to ask Members for their views on suitable alternative Dealerships. I would meet with the Service Manager at the Dealership of your choice and introduce yourself without revealing your previous relationship with Listers Cheltenham. I would ask him/her, if they offered preferential terms to owners of older vehicles such as yours. I would enter into a 5 years Service Agreement, and a 5 year Warranty Agreement(which they will probably say you won`t need because of RELAX). That way you will make your mark with the New Dalership and hopefully build and maintain a relationship which will avoid such experiences you have had with Listers.Your future motoring costs will be under control and interest and inflation free with the exception of consumable such as Discs etc. Good luck and I hope that you will keep us all informed of how matters develop.

  12. It is now much clearer to all what a Relax Warranty was Malcolm.
  13. The latter, I think Paul. Do they care about the customer any more or is the objective to sell the vehicle and receive revenue ?
  14. I bought the NX from Liverpool but they have been fine. It is Lexus Customer Services that has not responded to my emails concerning the absence of an official complete Handbook for a Septuagenarian to read on a vehicle that could cost up to circa £50k !
  15. A great posting Paul, thanks. Some lexus Dealerships do and some don`t ! I`ve written to Lexus Customer Services 3times since Jan 1, without even an acknowledgement !
  16. If you have not had the vehicle for more than 6 months and you bought it from a Motor Dealer Mawil, then take it back and ask him to fix it as the Law requires. Consumer Rights Act 2015.
  17. Morning Barney. As usual Colin`s advice is spot on. Why not have a friendly chat with Richard of Hybrid Battery Solutions who with his experience should be able to allay your concerns. He is a Member on this forum and operates out of Northampton area. https://www.hybridbatterysolutions.co.uk/
  18. A great informative posting Bernard. Annd it is why we are not provided with a Spare Wheel anymore.
  19. A really poor show, Lexus. Experience Amazing ???
  20. The User Guide has been with Elizabeth for 2 weeks Davey while she has the car. I have downloaded the full Manual and am on Page 87/552 currently while I watch the Spurs v Fulham match ! I will read a bit each day, but am not really up to it physically just now. I have yet to fall in love with the NX.
