  1. I did not declare my own view Phil, but I concur with you (again)
  2. James, Join Lexus world.com as it is full of SC owners.
  3. You may well be right Bernard.
  4. There is currently a small but gradually increasing number of electric cars being seen on our roads today. This morning on my 7 mile drive back from Chester on the A41 I followed a Tesla Model S in what I call a dismal Grey. I didn`t realise at first but as the journey progressed I became aware that he wasn`t displaying indicators as he crossed into and out of traffic lanes and it reminded me that before the Lockdowns were introduced I had been travelling home to Wirral from St Andrews in Scotland behind a BMW i3 and then a Nissan Leaf, both of which never ever displayed their desire to indicate their intentions. I am aware that there are too many drivers on the road who fail to display courtesy in a manner which is stated in the Highway Code, but I am now wondering if Drivers of Electric vehicles are merely trying to preserve their supply of on-board electricity, which no doubt is being reduced by continual use of Radio, Air Cons and Other items of Connectivity. Any thoughts and can we expect to experience more examples of thoughtless drivers ?
  5. Welcome Arturo. Good to welcome a fresh face. Despair not. You are one of many people to desert Mercedes for reason of poor customer service, unreliability and ridiculous running costs. You have bought a cracking car, but remember that the Hybrid system of driving needs to be learnt and there are plenty of advices both on the Lexus.co.uk website and via YOUTUBE. Owners will be along shortly to advice you but in the meantime please send us some photographs of you prized new purchase.

  7. Not seen or heard of a bad word about him. You have nothing to lose by making a simple phone call Raj.
  8. Don`t see why not. Look at posting from Nemesis as it might have more info and or ask Lexus. Good luck.

  10. He`s not yet learned to drive a Hybrid Vlad. Lexus Hybrids don`t accelerate, they glide and their progression is linear. He`ll learn.
  11. Welcome David. The 300h does not have an elastic band transmission. It has the most reliable transmission money can buy. It does not have any gears and does not have conventional performance. So, it may not be for you. We look forward to you reporting back.
  12. Check the Martin Lewis site as other have said, but the Principle component is the driver. His age, his driving record, his postcode. My experience tells me that adding a named driver (parent, uncle 40+ in age will tend to reduce the premium B4 I will watch this subject with interest. Good luck.
  13. You are merely trying to obtain a quotation, you are not going to use it other than to report to the Forum, so that we might evaluate it and help you. Use a post code that is close to you. If you are not comfortable with the suggested approach, then do not use it.
  14. The common denominator is you, so just try what I have said as it might prove fruitful towards solving the problem B4.
  15. Keep trying ,but change your name, address and Postcode and add a named driver let us know how you get on please.
