  1. Belt and Braces Paranoid !🤣🤣
  2. Paul, who in their right mind would want to steal a 300h? It is slower than Audi, BMW, Merc and many others. It has no gears, street cred or desirably for scroats. But, yes do as Wharfhouse has said.
  3. Thanks for the update Aaron. It is welcome news apart from the fact that you must travel to Swindon again. Please keep us updated with the outcome. Enjoy the 300h.
  4. Linas, A fault cannot be identified as falling within Warranty cover until an appropriate investigation has been completed. If upon completion a fault does exist and the remedy falls within the terms of the Warranty cover, then yes the entire cost can be charged to the Warranty. If however upon completion of the investigation, a fault does not exist, then the costs of the investigation fall to be borne by the customer. One does not check under Warranty, one fixes under Warranty.
  5. I cannot agree your last line Linas my old friend. I do not want 26 or any lines explaining your position. We rest on our respective positions.
  6. All good stuff Phil and a sensible approach which is not taken by many.
  7. Aaron, I do not have details of the Lexus Extended Warranty that was given to you and so I cannot comment in respect of that warranty.. What I can say however is that the Seller (Lexus Swindon) is responsible for all of the costs of correcting the matter. The Seller cannot abdicate his Statutory responsibilities. Swindon should inform Cardiff that it will cover all costs with fixing the problem. Should Cardiff`s investigations not identify a problem there will be nothing fix and so you should pay for the investigation of a problem which turned out not to be there ! I hope that seems clear to you.
  8. Whatever it cost Zak, if you were willing to pay the sum, then it was worth it to you. Enjoy a very fine vehicle.
  9. Seems a bit silly Vlad if Lexus advise a customer to seek to fit non standard wheels. Make sure your pal doen`t do anything on the strength of what he has been told, lest he falls foulf of his Insurance Company. You are quite right, smaller wheels produce a softer ride and they generate less noise too.
  10. Thanks for that clarity Phil. I have yet to see Amazon itself listed as the seller though, but I too am generally more than satisfied with its free (to us) Brokering service.
  11. Hi Len, it`s another old cynic again. It appears that Amazon is not in fact a seller, but is an Organisation through which a Seller sells his goods. I have come to this matter late and am unwilling to read much of the thoughts of "Linas the Omnipotent", so If I have missed an important point, then I must apologise.
  12. It is the best Aaron. I agree with what Linas has said ,but I would inform Lexus Swindon of your intentions as a matter of courtesy.
  13. I`d indeed be surprised if Lexus would not accept responsibility under its own warranty Aaron, but I am saying that the Seller (Lexus Swindon) has a Statutory (legal) responsibility to fix it anyway. Please keep us all posted.
  14. They will have Bernard in time. You need to buy your Audi Etron and your Ioniq first, though.🤣🤣🤣
  15. Take it straight back to Lexus Swindon Aaron and ask them to fix the problem. It is their responsibility regardless of Lexus Warranty. Good luck.
  16. Ah you mentioning M55 fooled me Paul. We used to have a static caravan in Harlech for 10 years and I used to travel from Wirral at weekends via Ruthin , pick up the A5 for a short while, so following the A5 past LLangollen should be a relatively less stressful journey. A5 can be busy though with clowns who have to pass everything in front of them. Take care, enjoy your trip and I imagine, a welcome break.
  17. And then Paul-from Horshoe to Blackpool ?
  18. Congratulations Vlady upon your appointment as the Lexus Representative for S.W. Scotland.😊😊
  19. Nice advert William. Good luck with the sale which I`d have thought would be soon. A well cared for and well maintained Lexus. Is it a six pot 3 litre, or what ?
