There are 2 Handbooks Barry, one for car and one for Navigation. Within the latter there should be a list of commands that can be used. I asked if you had looked at that. In my GS, If I press the nav button while nav is in use I get the option to suspend guidance. Do you have that available to you ?

I`m with you Mike. I`m surprised that H&S haven`t been involved yet. Recall all of the vehicles so fitted and let the manufacturers pay for their actions. -
