Thanks John. I cannot complain about the treatment which is first class, but the effect of the Pandemic has been to delay relatively low priority treatment. I have a follow up appointment on 3 August, then I need a second cataract op by one week prior to 3 September. Not looking good really.

To be quite honest John, I had them fitted in March in order to pass the M.O.T. and have not driven them 50 miles yet !! I have had eye problems since the middle of February and not driven any of my cars since then. I am booked to drive to Spain on 3 September, so I do hope I can be fit by then.

I agree. It is the Footballing Authorities that are to blame. Blinded by Television, Merchandising and Advertising monies they are unable to follow their own Rules. "It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for Football Authorities to act honestly"

I agree totally with you Barry. However we seem to forget that we watched a game played by people who had respect for the game and its Rules and who received little more than a working wage. People who went to the game on the bus with their boots wrapped up in newspapers.No longer a game I`m afraid. Any match I watch, I watched with all sound muted, so as to watch what I am watching not what I am told. It makes for me not being absorbed by the so called "atmosphere."
