Keep your existing Extended Warranty until it expires as it is CONSIDERABLY better than the Relax Plan. Take out a service plan and pay it monthly if you find it difficult paying a lump sum for servicing. -

And don`t forget to buy; a Jack, a wheelbrace, a torque wrench, a tyre pressure gauge etc. Does your car have identified jacking points or will you have to buy a hydraulic jack ? And each time you have a puncture someone will need to go back to your garage to collect the spare wheel. I wouldn`t bother, just look after and maintain your tyres on a regular basis and have effective Breakdown Cover.

Take a lengthy test drive and buy from a Lexus Dealer. Ignore any adverse criticism unless it is from a Lexus owner.

Very interesting Glenn and many thanks for the bigger picture. I`d have been livid myself and quite possibly unable to withold both barrels. Certainly not the sort of service I would expect from any National Dealership, let alone a Toyota/Lexus Dealership. Onwards and upwards as they and as Mark has suggested, please give us some piccies of the fine vehicle. Looking forward to some interesting contributions from you in future Threads. -
Herbie, have you watched the Tennessee Blue Grass Band playing/singing Fraulein ? Paradoxically it`s a new refreshing display of an old style of playing. I cannot abide all of the media hype and claptrap over our 3rd rate team having got to a final that no-one knows or cares, who won it 8 year ago. I just watch the game on mute.
