The only way I found to convert the Speedometer from KPH to MPH when I shipped my ISF to the UK was to change the whole speedometer....can't remember where I sourced it from but I remember it was not aneasy find as it changes your millage back to Zero 😁 and not many people will sell you a new speedometer. I had Lexus dealership in the UK swap over the speedometer (eventhough I can do it myself) but I wanted them to record the actual millage of the car in the maintenance manual so that no one says I'm playing around with the millage. I drove the car in the UK for like 3 years and whenever someone would look at the millage they get shocked cause it was well under 2k Miles for a car that was 10 years old.

I think this ISF has travelled the world more than most, 4~5 years in KSA, then 3~4 years in UK and now finally arrived in Dubai for some much-needed tender loving care. I decided to ship it out of the UK as London was becoming ridiculous with the 20mph speed limits in the city.

Now this is interesting, eventhough this is like 2hrs away from me I may just about be able to make it. 50/50 on attending (fingers crossed I can). Hope you guys aren't biased on Left hand drive ISFs 😛

I have my car with the battery disconnected for 1 year intervals as I can't fit a charger where its parked 😪 Having said that it's started like a champ whenever I'm back in London (new batter fitted 2 years back) but I'm still shocked that it doesn't even need a jump start to get it going. Will be switching on the beast in 3 days time when I'm back in London (it's been sleeping for a year now)....can't wait 😈 Sorry wasn't helpful in your question, just thought about sharing my usual dilema.

Interesting you're noticing this. Ever since I bought my ISF brand new I've always noticed my bonnet lifiting at high speeds. I have driven my car on high speeds the first 4 years of its life at high speeds nearly daily and everything seems ok, apart from seeing the bonnet from the side when at high speeds it does look slightly lifted. You can see in the below Video at the end where my bonnet looks lifted:

North West London 😁 (But would be willing to drive anywhere to get it fixed) I would rather not let the dealers touch it because they'll probably just say that I need a new cluster knowing them 😆 and charge me over 1k for it. When I got my car shipped to the UK the company who shipped it over also sorted out the rear fog light on the old cluster. I'm sure it would have been a general auto electrician but someone whos competant or has experience with car instrument panels. I think I'll try seeing with them who they got to do it.

Hello Gentlemen, I am in need of some assistance. Last time I was in London (Dec 2020) was trying to get MOT for my car and everything passed apart from the rear fog light indicator light showing up on my speedometer/cluster when it is switched on. This is because I changed my speedometer/cluster when I shipped it to the UK in order for it to read MPH instead of KPH. When I changed the cluster/speedometer I had to cut the old rear fog light wire that was retrofited to my old MPH cluster. I am basically in need of someone or a workshop that can take out my cluster, open it and solder on a small light to show my rear fog lights indicator on my speedometer when it is switched on. Does anyone know who in London could do this? any type of specialists?

In all honesty I believe the ISF would be way more fun than the RS4 and faster for sure (Unless in the rain). In terms of comfort I do not believe you will see a big improvement as the ISF is a bit harsh standard (Also depending on which year you get) Also I believe the ISF in general would feel like a much smaller car.

Interesting even though I don't like the GSF but this one looks decent. I guess we both go to the same dealers in London 😉👍

That's sweet mate, I thought about installing bags in the past but never really took it seriously. I'd be interested to see how they do on the track as I've heard they're not as bad as people expect.

Just for reference, disconnecting the secondary intake valve has been shown to reduce horse power. This was proven over at ClubLexus some years back. I actually love the noise of the secondary intake valve opening, feels a bit like a turbo kicking in 😉

Using the OEM brake pads the brake dust I've experienced have been horrible. The ISF has one of the worst I've seen on a car in terms of dust which is why I changed my pads to Project Mu400's and then 800's.

Came out nice, I was wondering how the old school look will go on the ISF but they work well. What are the specs on the wheels and tires please?

Not sure about an import from Japan, but mine is an import from the middle east and I haven't faced too many problems. It did go to a specialist who made sure it was up to MOT (Uk) standards. The main thing they did was to make sure the rear fog lights work and to rewire the light to show up on my dash when the fogs were on. Other than that everything was left as it is, I did however install a new speedometer to get it to convert to MPH as mine was in KPH and didn't want to keep calculating in my head. As for insurance mine is pretty reasonable, doesn't seem to be any premiums on it at the moment.

I absolutely hate the BMW parts of the car.....Why not do something unique since they've waited all this time for a new supra rather than take parts from BMW 🙄 Love the front lights and general shape but that's about it.
