are you after the aristo mk 1 mk 2 , vertex or vortex
mk 1 and 2 are the same (ish) as uk gs 300
the vertex models have a twin turbo and the mk 1 ,not sure about mk 2, has some trick suspension
if u use auto trader you can widen the area to encompass the country
i got mine for a song only needed £600 worth of work on it and it is sweet as a nut

normal silicon hose cannot be used for brakes 1. it has no end fittings - 2.it isnt designed to take pressure 3. it may not be suitable for use with brake fluid.
thanks thats what i thought
what about all other applications ?
power steering, coolant etc
-
I would just give them money - I am too much of a soft touch.
I always give to people on the street / buy the big issue etc etc.
I always figure that a quid means more to them than it does to me - although I am probably just appeasing my own subconcious
i (we) never give to folks on the street
but we buy the big issue
that is different that is helping folks help themselves you can see its not just throwing your money away

it was matt mc nally
i would not want to steal his thunder ;)
curry last night mate - you don't want anything to do with my thunder ;)
Fever - this was the car security thread you refer to.
And yes - a professional auto locksmith told me it would take him around 45 minutes to get into my IS - and that it would make a mess of the car
mmmm thunder
which? reviews are odd
i have always thought they were right out there,
things that were obviously better than others often get a bad review
i saw a mountain bike review where a £600 bike was beaten by a £150 bike cos of its value not taking into account the £150 bike would fall apart, handle like a pig etc
i dont kno
mind you i dont work for which? so ....

had my first experience with these guys in London the other week.
Guy washed my windowscreen (to be fair Loz - he used soapy water and a squeezee :P ) - so I dropped the wind and gotsome change out of my ashtray, which is where I dump all my loose change.
He looks in - sees all the pound coins in there - and his hands is in the car, pointing at the ashtray saying "Pounds...pounds.."
He wasn't actually trying to take anything - but he still had his hands in the car, and wouldn't take them out when I moved the wind up a bit.
Soon moved 'em when the lights changed though - not often I go for a "full throttle racing start" from the lights - but it got his hands out of the car.
cheeky :tsktsk:
thats insane
imagine if you had your kids in the car or it was a lone female? (not wanting to be sexist)
i do not agree with begging, which is what it is
i have been in some scrapes in my life , but ive never needed to do that
when i was in france there were beggers everywhere they would walk up to your car and stick their babies in the window ...
what do you do

I hope you've tried tinting before young man.
I wouldn't start by practicing on your car. It can be a bit tricky ;) bubble, bubble, crease, crease.....
I'll practice on Lyn's car first - got some silver I don't want :D
Could use sellotape too hmmmmmmmmmm
Any tips from the tintmeister?
-
Take off door card, lift back plastic covering door frame, fold back on itself(very sticky) then its just two(i think)10/12mm bolts that hold glass on runners.........voila lift out :D :D
What tools will I need apart from spanners?

Number plates
Now, when we go to a meet some of us have number plate covers that we got from Steve (Admin) for a super price (got any left Steve?)
We put these on to hide our plates and to show what club we belong to
As we have no banners or flags as such, any membersip badge is a good thing ...
Why doesn't everyone else use plates ?
If it is the fact that you can't get em - at jae there may be a fellah making plates.
The reason I ask is it has taken Lyn about 2 hrs to edit all our pics - do we take it that if you have your numberplate 'on show' you are happy for it to be online?
If not, please cover up your plates!!!!!
Perhaps Steve could make a template for a LOC plate we could download and print out ourselves?

Ifraz was worried about the manliness of putting on moisturiser saying that it is a little soft
I gave some to loz
Ifraz looked even more worried

You boys are funny :D ...well actually I'm getting a little worried about you both
http://www.lexusownersclub.com/gallery/alb.../JAPS_2003_TashStar of the LOC stand has to go to this little princess
I believe this is Gus's young daughter :) sorry I failed to catch her name. She was def. the start of the show
bit of a hint in the url mate

Looks as if I have been edited then - I'd like a pm please from whoever did it as to why ????
At JAPS, during the course of the day we (the people who went) had a little joke
Ifraz was worried about the manliness of putting on moisturiser saying that it is a little soft
I gave some to loz
Ifraz looked even more worried
I said you wouldn't understand its a gay thing - we all laughed
(Spelled ghey from a conversation with Mat Clawley a while ago)
Comments, please
Thank you
P.S. refer to Rodders edited post (pinned) as how ANYTHING may be posted in general chat
