  1. in general London driving using regular 95 or on occasion Tesco 99 i say i would get 20-22 mpg
  2. i picked up a complete set of brake flexi hoses (Goodridge) for practically the price of one & a half of the original ones from brake disc company MTEC Brakes based in Northern Ireland I've used this company for various brake components for all my cars as required & i am very satisfied with their offerings in terms of price & performance
  3. I recently made a EURO 2024 trip to Germany in the IS & recorded a decent MPG for the journey in my opinion as follows, does anyone agree? distance travelled door to door driving 945 miles gallons used 24 average based on 85% motorway (max 100mph) 10% urban & 5% traffic jams etc was 39mpg
  4. WESTFIELD MOTORS, RALEIGH ESSEX, Toyota specialists replaced & programmed one of mine at a very reasonable price within £100 all in
  5. from what i can recall pre2008 cars can have issues regards the fuel lines when running on E10 petrol, please correct me anyone if i am wrong
  6. yep South Korea are the world leaders in this technology
  7. I've got various THINKWEAR units on all my cars, work well , alerts are accurate, price is reasonable for the features offered
  8. I've been off the forum for along time & this is a subject that has been well discussed here with lots of useful input from everyone I'm getting my car ready for a Euro 2024 trip & amongst a list of works is a gearbox fluid change. There were quite a few threads on this subject but i cant seem to find them to refresh my memory would appreciate members who can suggest the best options available, i have previously planned to do this but never go around to it as the car was practically not driven for months thanks
  9. received this week, my first order from Amayama of a replacement arm as required, it arrived well packaged and I'm very satisfied with the process. Definantly will use again if economical viable against local OEM suppliers
  10. hi, most LEXUS main dealers will supply a larger size rear upon request, my local charged me £24 all in for regular front & larger rear my other option is PFC based in Ireland who have the best available service & materials used buy post without documents
  11. my main concern is the spray pattern of the jets, i have ordered for the first time from amayama a replacement wiper arm at less than half price delivered than was quoted by LPD so lets see how that goes
  12. I've done some research about replacements items for the original ones in case of failures, but i want to ask because i never noticed if the original jets fire single jet , double jet or fan jet when active? currently my originals are firing single jet which is not very efficient, is that normal for 2008 model year cars? LPD offer replacements which fire as fan pattern as a upgrade, but the price is frankly daft at about £50 a pair A company AMAYAMA has been bought to my notice by another forum member & things are much more reasonable (all things considered) Just looking for opinions before i commit to a change or not as the case may be
