  1. Premium sport models came with less chrome as they had a black grill surround and roof rails, have a look on autotrader for indication of how it may look. I am potentially looking into wrapping the chrome on my UX once it arrives (due November. Premium Sport has been discontinued for MY2023, so my order is a premium pack). Will be doing the grill surround, roof rails and chrome window surrounds. The window surrounds will need to be done using a knife less technique (plenty of YouTube videos showing this) to prevent any damage to window rubbers.
  2. http://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202111259957554?atmobcid=soc3 This one looks like a well cared for example, 2 owner car with full Lexus history and the "big" 60k service completed recently as confirmed by the dealer.
  3. Make sure you specify its a right hand drive car if you end up going with the US supplier, apparently there are differences in the headers of left hand drive cars Vs right hand drive
  4. Novel headers are a work of art, sound totally unique and awesome. Do you mind disclosing who the supplier was and the price? The price I had from Japan for exhaust and headers with shipping and tax was over £10k! Sound clips after the install would be much appreciated
  5. I'm sure I read the paddles are magnesium in an old lexus brochure....I could be wrong!
  6. Try this thread. 2 post on page 2 by user Alphard mentions Mackie's in Glasgow reconditioned the box. Good luck getting yours sorted

  8. It was £25k up until yesterday. They added another £2.5k so its now £27.5k! Very optimistic if they think they can sell it for that price when a lexus main dealer couldn't sell it for £22.5k. 9. The silver 2012 ISF from Lexus Sidcup has now appeared at a dealers in Sheffield ... With a £3k price hike!
  10. How's the exhaust cut out holding up now its been on a couple of years, any reliability issues with the valve? Quite interested in this myself, there are tons of these things available on the Internet so it's difficult to know which ones are better quality and won't fail after a while. Do you mind posting details of the cut out you went for?
  11. Try this thread from the US forum. Post #7 onwards is what I think you may be after... https://www.clublexus.com/forums/lc-model-2018/934654-exhaust-valves.html
  12. I'm sure you already have this one on your ISF register Paul, you posted a video and thread about it in 2017. I always remember the car as I was interested when the price came down to just over the £30k mark in early 2017 with only 5k miles on the clock but lexus Coventry sold it before I could take a look. Link to the thread;
  13. Looks great, congrats! It might be my old GSF if its a Jan 2016 registered car. PM me if you want more info on the car
  14. My tips were filthy when I purchased the car, I used autosol metal polish with a microfiber cloth, took 10 mins to do, tips looked factory fresh when I finished. Finished them off with a coating of HD wax for good measure (that was much harder to apply then the autosol!). There are a few videos on YouTube demonstrating autosol use if you search for "cleaning stainless steel exhaust". Can pick up a tube of autosol from wilko's for £3.50 (think it's closer to £7 for the same tube at Halfords)
  15. I ran an ISF for 2 years between 2014 - 2016, then moved into a gs450 f sport and from that to a golf r (what a mistake, it went to the dealer 8 times in 5 months for warranty repairs so I couldn't wait to get rid!), the golf was then traded against my GS F. I was actually looking for a late model ISF but nothing came up that I fancied so I took the plunge and went for a GSF, very happy I did, it's a great car! Only minor complaint I have had is squealing brakes which are a lot better now the chaps at Lexus Liverpool have de-glazed my pads (I believe the GS F you have put a deposit on has already had the pads de-glazed a few months ago for the same issue according to what Mat told me. It also had a new rear tyre for a puncture.) The guys at Lexus Liverpool are great, they have 2 master techs working there who have around 50 years of experience working on Lexus cars and really know their way around F cars (I prefer going to them than Lexus Stockport which is only a couple miles from my house). If you want any other info give me a shout, or PM me. Good luck with the purchase. And as a final word, anyone considering the black Gsf at Milton Keynes, inspect it closely, pretty sure it has had a proper trashing around a track which is why it has stone chips all across the front and has had 4 new tyres plus a set of discs and pads in 7000 miles! @BigRat may have some other info in his F database...
