  1. I rather like this combination. Anyone know the car? It was spotted at a pub in Central Cheshire. the number plate is from Oakmere garage in Northwich
  2. So when all the IS-F owners migrate to the RC-F, then the early more powerful ones will be worth £££££££s more. That works well for me.
  3. V8 definitely; they have even made it sound better than the RC-F
  4. Doesn't the IS-F share with the IS 220d?
  5. Thanks for sharing this. The world benefits when people share their mistakes (or their discovery of design faults). I shall be careful with snow from now on.
  6. No thanks for me. I like to keep my cars unmodified, apart from the odd golf tee
  7. If it gets really hot, you could always try Porky Pigging it?
  8. I was pondering an F-Type instead of the RC-F. But 6 months of lurking on the owners forums (fora?) suggested it was a risky proposition in terms of reliability
  9. Maybe you are right about the teenage period; It was squeaking between 13 and 19 months after I bought it....
  10. Mine stopped squeaking sometime last autumn. I have no idea why, maybe it was just a phase they go through? I'll update if they start agian
  11. I could live with that as long as it had the IS 350 engine as bare minimum. Thanks for being the forum's Siri
  12. I can't decide whether I like that or not....any other pictures?
  13. Let us know how much the traction control intervenes. It hardly ever happened on the IS-F but is a frequent occurrence on the RC-F. I wonder if it is the tyres?
  14. Sticking the V8 in a CT would be right up my street. Also thanks to Big Rat for the top quality stalking of the F cars out there
  15. So how many of us gentlemen of impeccable taste have made the IS-F to RC-F swap now?
  16. I would have gone for Blue or Red only. I don't like the look of Carbon ones and didn't fancy the extra cost. There is (or was) another Black one. This RC-F, if you'll excuse the pun. Lexus Chester had it as a demo in Early 2015 and I took it to the EVO triangle to see what it was like. I saw the plate on a White one at Lexus Chester just before Christmas
  17. RC-F for the win. I predict I'll be ready to shift mine in Jan 2020 if anyone else is into longer term planning. And of course, it is the best colour.
  18. The wrap on the Stockport RC-F was terrible. I went there to see if they could suggest a wrapping company, but after seeing the shoddy workmanship, I decided not to enquire further.
  19. I just found out that a 2 year warranty on the RC/RCF is £995. The IS/ISF is still £795. I wonder if they are expecting 25% more claims (or more expensive faults) with the RC, or are just pricing it because they can get away with it. It is still very much worth it though.
  20. Isn't there a LF-A parked in the baddies' car park in Rome in Spectre?
  21. RCF, CT200 and Sc430 in The Good, The Bad and The Ugly
  22. If you are worried about mpg with the a/c on, couldn't you just put diesel in the tank until the car dries out? Voila...50 mpg instead of 25
  23. I found the decrease in premium was a lot less than the subscription so it didn't make sense to keep paying
  24. I took the boot and bonnet off my wife's cardoxton 220d to put them on my red IS-F. I thought it would make it look like it had carbon fibre panels. The boot fitted perfectly, but the bonnet was missing a bulge. That was a wasted weekend
