  1. Mine neither; 3200 miles so far at 28.01 mpg. I also checked the readout vs actual mpg on the last tank. Readout = 30.8, actual = 29.19
  2. Very helpful summary; thanks Sean
  3. I like the way you are thinking Tom. Its Forza for me, with a little bit of 3D recreation of some of my favouites
  4. I agree completely Linas; and for me that makes the LC ten times more appealing
  5. I've never liked that orange; and it doesn't even look better in the flesh. There are some nice oranges out there with other manufacturers, but Lexus seemed to have missed the mark on this one
  6. I agree. I use eco for towns, motorways and for bimbling around, then use Sport and the paddles when I feel the need for speed, or noise, or fun
  7. 1. Keep this RCF as a future classic, and run another car 2. Buy a new RC-F, with whatever upgrades come in 3. LC 500....or an LCF if things go really well
  8. Wrong again. Both are on my (very) short list of potential cars for 2020-2025
  9. Yes, but this thread is 5% faster
  10. This feels very much like the conversation on this very forum about the RC-F in 2015; Plenty of skepticism and concern about value for money. But look how many RC-F owners there are now on here. I predict in 2021 all us LC owners of the future will be saying the same about something else
  11. I wasn't looking at the rpm; my focus was between the speedo and the road. Next time, I'll have a look
  12. The RC-F has a posted top speed of 270kph, which is limited. The limiter kicked in repeatedly on the autobahn at an indicated 285kph, which is about 5.5% over
  13. Conveniently forgetting the 1000s of people who died in the UK through Irish Republican and Ulster Loyalist terrorism
  14. Or drive at a steady 150mph on the clock and wait for the video to appear on one of those 'Police, Camera, Action' type shows?
  15. Don't we spend a fortune each year trying to prevent people doing exactly that?
  16. So many posts to catch up with after a few days away. Can somebody help me with a simple answer: Should I prefer a RWD with 0-60 of > 7 seconds over a FWD that can do it in < 5 seconds. Or a 4WD electric torque monster?
  17. I can confirm that Thule do a roof bar set up that fits both the IS-F and IS220d. I used them for bike rails, but a roofbox would work just as well. They don't work for the RC-F though
  18. I'm with you on this. I'd spend the £500 on Shell V-Power.........cue another argument.
  19. Oops; what I meant to write was "just about affordable, if I forego luxuries like shoes and soap"
  20. Yes to all that. 0-100 is more interesting to me, but not enough to be a deal breaker
  21. I looked at GTRs a few years back and was horrified by the £6000 per year extended warranty. £500 per year for the RC-F is truly a bargain. I imagine the C63 would be between the two?
  22. The white one had the plate TH15 RCF last time I saw it. Did you get that with it? Also the wheels were badly kerbed; I hope they refurbished them before they sold it to you?
  23. They had a Structural Blue one in Lexus Chester recently. In photos, the interior looks gaudy, but in the flesh it was gorgeous. The main reason* I'm not buying one is the difficulty in repairing stone chips. * Other reasons include not having enough cash, as I only buys cars using cash up-front once I've saved the readies. Apparently that makes me 'an idiot'
  24. Mine is apparently not ML according to some database. But it has Mark Levinson written all over it....... I would be confused if I could give enough of a stuff about audio; whatever I have passes my 'good enough' test
