  1. It is good to hear that Motorway is suitable for high end cars; if no forum member is after my car when it comes to sell, and Lexus garages are not interested, then I'll use them. We sold a Skoda Citigo through Motorway and got an excellent price, with a easy experience. I checked out the purchasing garage online and found they didn't have the highest reputation, but they paid before they left so no problem.
  2. There are still plenty of big open roads in North Wales. Some have average speed cameras, but a gentle drive along first will tell you where to find them. I think the person who sited them on the A543 part of the EVO triangle was a petrol head; there is a long flowing stretch between two cameras, with lay-bys to wait or turn around in to keep the average on the safe side of legal. The A4212 and B4391 to the NW of Bala are usually clear too, and have plenty of overtaking places.
  3. The dealer listings need checking. Mine was recorded as not ML, but has all the correct speakers and stickers.
  4. Looks like a good buy for someone. Is that some sort of autofill advert where car details are added automatically? Unless someone has fitted a new back seat, ISFs all had 4 seats
  5. Very rare colour for an ISF too. Is it Diamond Grey or something similar?
  6. Double appreciation; that is proper man maths
  7. Indicated 177 mph, several times on the 3 lane autobahn near Duren on the way to / from the 'Ring. That was when the limiter kicked in. Several attempts to go faster were also thwarted by the limiter. I wonder if the ISF is not limited?
  8. Any particular reason you have a 50k mile ceiling? These things go on for ever if looked after properly.
  9. That is good news as it used to run out at 10yrs, though you could buy 2 years in advance taking it to 12. If it still includes their breakdown cover, it is very good value (or was when I had it on ISF and RCF)
  10. I notice ISFs are still priced not far off the amount I traded mine in for in 2015. Whoever bought it probably has had great value According to Autotrader's 'value your car' link, my RCF is worth the same as it was in Feb 2020, and I've added 22000 miles since then
  11. That's one hell of a driveway
  12. Also, I understand E10 does horrible things to the tank and pipes if you leave it in there partly filled. When laying up my RCF for winter months, I fill it completely with E5 V Power
  13. Mine is about 6-8% better fuel economy, which offsets the extra cost of Shell V-Power at my local garage. They only add 10p per litre, whilst some bandits at other stations add up to 23p per litre. One cannot normally tell until you get to the pump. As it is supposed to clean the engine and give a little extra power, I tell my self that it is free performance.
  14. Great car the Spec B, though I didn't get a card from the previous owner. Mine hasn't used any oil in 10k miles and it seems to stay very clean. The previous owner (since new) was fastidious with his maintenance, so It looks like I have a good one.
  15. Thank you Charles and Linas; Lexus ProTect is now firmly off my shopping list. This is one of the reasons I appreciate this forum so much
