No worries, When mine went i drove it for a week with it slipping.... next time you are out give it some stick in 3rd if the engine revs rise but the car is not accelerating then its time for a change Im all ways giveing my IS stick in 3rd and it flys along :) and i have 98000 miles on the clock,

Hi mate sorry to hear this, you could take it back to them and say what are you going to do about my wheel & Bumper and see what they say, when i took my car in to get new rims fitted i made the guy who was going to do it look round the car and also look at the rims, and i said to him if there is any marks on the car or rims they would have to pay to get it fixed, so with that he had no way of geting out of it if there was. did you look round the car when you picked it up or not, if you did not then all they will say it was not them who did it ;)

hi,thanks to every body here. yesteray, one of my friends ask me to suggest a car to him to buy, and i suggest the is200, he was so satisified, i found a is200 from autotrader at 7900 pounds, we went to see it, nice, blue, 75000 miles,full histroy,full leater,with electric control and heated seats .wonderful stereo. and very creative 6 disc cd changer in dashboard, come out one by one,very lovely, rather than a boot cd changer,and electric fold mirror, i have a test drive, it is a 6 speed manual one, quieter than bmw when drive low speed, but speed up, the wind sound make noise, not as quiet as bmw at high speed. and however, can not match my 323ci's acceleration, overall , i can say that if u got a is200 ,u got every thing, because it was fully equipment, i like the se or sport model.,!!!!!!!!! If you like the SE or sports, well i dont need to say any more you have just said it :P what are you waiting for go get one :winky:

Hi guys, i need to replace my cam belt over the weekend could i do it and if so what tools would i need to do the job, do i have to "lock it up" to replace the "cam belt" any help would be good from any one that knows how to do this job thanks Marcus

meets are not to do with modding there about meeting others from the club because without a doubt we all have a common interest , or we wouldnt be here so many times i hear ....my wife doesnt like cars well the xmas do will have very little to do with cars just a bunch of us having a good time when Steve takes the time and trouble to try and organise something like this and ends up with very few people wanting to go or even to say "sorry i wont be able to make it" , seems a bit of a joke the same bloke who tirelessly spends all year keeping and maintaining the site for us all to use, i have to ask myself why he bothers ?? i am not moaning at any one inparticular (certainly not marcus) but as a whole , i think 4 members turning up this weekend is a joke a poor show by any clubs standards we all read what the scooby club did for the young lad !!! what chance would we have i am also married with two kids, i run my own business, and part run another, so i am well aware and appreciate lack of time, i look on it as a chance to meet others , and most of all, its social aspect why dont people bring wives along ? why not suggest a family meet ? I hear where you are comeing from Bazz i do mate, as for the XMAS doo! i dont know if i can make this but i will let you know soon :winky:

yea same here mate i have made some good friends from going to LOC meets as you know you are one of them , and i hope to keep on makeing them, i love going to meets just to see all the new mods that guys have put on there cars, any way i will see you all on the 10th at the Pod may take it for a run as well to see how slow it is

I do try to get to most meets, "gaydon,jae,santa pod,and some min/meets like bluewater, HIN london" and i will be at santa pod on the 10th as well, i hear what you are saying Bazz we should get a lot more going to the meets, but out of all the members on here i would say only 20% of them like to MOD there IS, so the ones that are not in to it you are not going to get them at meets, i know its not just for moded IS,s but 95% of the meets are. but i all so have wife & 3 kids at home, and as i work for myself i have to keep looking for that next job, as my job takes up most of my time so i can only get to some of the meets that are put on by LOC. i would love to come to all of them I dont know about you guys but this is the only car i have ;) and i have had it one year now and i have put 22000 miles on it

South mims is good for me Don., any more how about it Raz you guys want to meet us there :winky: should be good convoy as it was when we went to JAE any one who would like to convoy meet at south mims M25, what time should we all meet! im thinking 6.45am , if we all get there for then we should get to the Pod just as the gates open, or just before :winky: what you guys think!!

I have Green with chrome stickers :) i did them red but that was to much so then i did them silver and they did not stand out so i went out and got some green and they look just right, well i think they do dont think any one had green thats why i went for it :winky:

sorry i can not make this now as the wife is makeing me pick out of this one and the Pod on the 10th so i think i will see you guys at the Pod :winky:
