like bazz said, one of your doors must of been open a bit to start with and if so the doors will not lock!! but you would not know this if you did not stand there to see if the alarm went on or not, so there for you walked away thinking you had locked the car up ;) i did this last week but i new the alarm was not set as it did not flash 5 times like it should, good job i all ways wait and see if its set "Police think it may be a steal to order that went wrong" Mate if it was steal to order you would not have a car NOW!!, what could have went wrong, car was open with no "ALARM" ;)

Once I read a post of somebody in AUS who bent his rods and such with his turbo charged IS200. But he was lucky that his daddy owned a Lexus-Shop.... :) Is it possible that this was that guy?? Yes for lower boost you can keep the fuel pump. TRD328, how did you solve fuel problem, to give the required fuel. Put you larger injects in or exchanged the pump and fpr?? Or did it anyway run on the stock fuel-system? ← I put a bosch 300hp+ fuel pump in my baby :D everything solved. ← Thats what im going for, well not 300hp+, I have got 260hp+ inline one comeing

I had MOT not so long ago and the guy who did it did point them out to me, but he still passed it, :D all comes down to where you take it and who is doing the MOT, and best of all who you know :winky:

I got my IS200 SE 14 months ago, its a 2000 W, it had FLSH when i got the car i do all the serviceing myself. why here you say......well i am going to keep the car.....and all so i dont like paying for thing that i can do for alot less, when i picked the car up it had 67000 on it now it has 102000 and all i have had to replace is 4 new tyres & Cam/belt at 100000 and pads all round. :) and i have put alot of Mods on it as you can tell

what do you want from a car all cars have issues ;) IMO you can not buy a better car than the IS for the price you are paying for it, and i must be one of the lucky ones as i have not had any Faults with me IS in the 14 months i have had it, i use my IS alot...35000 miles a year i do in my IS, and when you use it that much you get to know what is right and what is not, as with driveing the car this much you get to know what it should sound like and so on!!

;) i only got the 1 key, but then you Old guys need more than 1 key as you all ways forgeting where you put the 1st one :P :winky:

I'm not getting at you Marcus. For somebody reading this thread they may get the impression that you can just install and set up one of these systems on your own - however doing so could cause serious damage to your engine. Run your engine too lean and it will just melt. ← :winky: Did not think on the mate :duh: Like Colin said DONT GO THINKING!! you can just go get one and fit it and thats it! it will have to go on Rolling Road! to be setup

you missed out the other thing that will need doing - rebuild or replace the blown engine ← why you say that for :duh: Like i said befor it will have to be setup on Rolling road, and when it is all setup there will be no need for me to tuch it. :winky: To Map the Emanage i would not know where to start. any way the Emanage tells you if some thing is not right with the setup & if and when some thing is not right it cuts of Emanage and then you are back on the std ECU . i may look :duh: but im not

This is why i went for the Profec E_01 as it has the Boost control on it, see greddy do 2 E-01,s one is Profec E-01 and there is just the E-01. The Emanage is very complicated to map, but the best thing about it is you can have a go at maping it as and when you like, and if you :tsktsk: it up you initialize it. and then start over :winky:

This is why i got the Profec E-01 as it has LCD to do all the MAPing on, OK i said i would let you know what the Emanage can do, Here is just some of the things it can do, The 1st bit on the E-01, you have A,B,C,D (A.) is Boost, Click on that and you have. (1) Setup Boost (2) Over take Boost (3) RPM Offset (B.) is Setup, Click on that and you have. (1) Car Select (2) Waring (3) Peak Hold (4) Anlog Input (5) Pulse Input (6) Anlog Output (7) Throttle (8) Warning Meter (9) Signal Check (10) LCD (11) Program (12) Initialize (C.) is Display, Click on that and you have. (1) Digital (2) Bar Graph (3) Graph (4) Meter (D.) is your Emanage, Click on this one and this is where the FUN starts :winky: (1) Ignition ADJ,Map (2) Sub Injector Map (3) Boost Limiter Cut (4) Anti Engine Stall (5) Add Injector Map (6) Air Flow ADJ Map (7) VTC I think the Greddy Emanage is the Dogs :tsktsk: :winky: i have only had this on for one day now! and the car fills better than it ever did, and as i do like to drive it hard most of the time Just seems alot better to drive

RR mate im still playing with the Profec E-01, i will take a look and see whats what ok mate :winky: did you take a look at the Link i put on my last post my wife went out in the car before i fitted all this & then she went out when it was all fitted and the 1st thing she said to me when she come back was the car seems to drive & fills 10 times better now! :D

I am very happy with it and i love the LCD that you get with the Profec E-01 its the DOGS :tsktsk: :D

For now no! as i have the Profec E-01 to set it all up the way i want it, but to get the best out of it when i have the Turbo fitted i will have to get it set up on rolling road, I only fitted it now so its one less job to do when the Turbo gets fitted. I have all so fitted my Greddy Profec E-01 as well, now i can map the IS when i want to :winky: but as i dont have the Turbo fitted yet! there is not much to map just been out in the IS for the last 2 hours playing with the E-01 there is lots it can do that i did not think it could do, man there so much to this E-01 i will put some pic,s up of it all working soon,
