  3. Marcus, if you remember correctly, you asked me to tell you what parts you need to buy. Not having done an is200 before to this level and not being prepared to give you bad advice, whether you realise it or not yet, I did the right thing by advising you of the correct course of action. I maintain that the SAFC you bought is completely wrong for the conversion you are undertaking. Although I realise that you have not reached the level where you have fully understood it yet, you have actually wasted money on buying and installing it which could have been put towards a system that will do the job properly at the boost pressure you are hoping to achieve. In the same light as the above, I still recommend that you have the package designed properly otherwise you could easily waste even more money. Dave seems to be an expert nowadays, you could always take his advise if you don't believe me or if you feels he has more experience. Best of luck mate :D ← ;) well its ok now as i have all the INFO i need, at the end of the day i want to run HI Boost but its going to take me along time to get all the bits i need ( when i asked i was not on about for now!! maybe i should of said that! just thinking what i would like to end up with and thats why i asked what i would need) Why you keep saying the Greddy Emanage + profec E-01 is no good when there are lots of guys in the UK & US useing them on there cars, and if they are no good why did you try and sell me one "if they are no good" ;) "best of luck" im going to need all the luck i can get to keep the IS on the road when the Turbo is fitted at the end of next month, as i do like to put my foot down alot (not all the time ) @Dave PM me when mate :winky:

What do you call "high boost" Marcus? ← I would like to take it to 1.5 to 2 bar...........could you tell me what i need to get please mark Thanks P.S PM if you like with what i need ← There is a massive difference between 1.5 and 2 bar boost pressure. Sounds to me like you need a properly designed package to try and avoid the possibilty of ending up with an expensive mistake. If you want us (or anyone else) to design you a package to give you what you are looking for, there is a considerable amount of time involved in doing this which we are unable to provide for free. Alternatively you can take the advise of someone that has no experience or first hand knowledge whatsover but gives expert advice, or you can take a guess yourself which may be equally useful. I will be happy to guess what parts you may need, but a guess is likely to be as useful as a chocolate teapot, if you want the job to right first time. ← all i asked was could you give me some info on what i would need to run HI Boost. not the ins & outs of what i would need ;) but all you come back with was 0 like you all ways do when i ask you anything i got the same of you when i asked you about the Turbo if you remember, What you told then that what i wantted to do was not going to work!! ;) Then i ask you about fitting the Emanage + Profec E-01 and you told me you could fit it for £500+ and that was with out setting it up! the cost of setting up was on top. ;) and you told me the Emanage was no good for what i wantted it for, but then there you are trying to sell me a 2nd hand one you had if its not any good why try and sell me one :duh: just seem's to me each time i ask you for help on anything i all ways get a (-) feedback of you. and its starting to ***** me off. ;) as long as i know where i stand thats ok, P.S the name of our cars are Lexus IS200, NOT (£££££££££'s)

  7. Thanks guys for your input :D just thinking what i would like at the end up with, i will do it but its going to take me some time to get all the bits i need. But for now i will be happy with the Turbo when its fitted :winky:

  15. did not hear much pete as we was going some to start of with i pulled up on him doing about 80 and we was like that for about 2-3miles (i think he was playing with his bit to get the car running how it should run) but when he see me he put his foot to the floor, and of he went.........and he did give some as well, he got about 40-50 foot away from me but thats all, the only time he pulled away from was going up a bit of hill on the A2, but with each gear he went up lots & lots of smoke come on the back end like i say it must of been an old pig as he had to pull over on to the HS and stop
  16. I know a cossie would kill an IS, as i said before i was keeping with him (not passing him) and it was an old pig of a cossie as well so! but still made me fill good keeping up with ..................and yes i know what a proper cossie can do as my mate use to have one

That sounds like a good price, as i payed 11K for my W 2000, with 77,000 and i get my one just over a year ago, so that price is just about right, if you look around you could get one with less miles on it for about 1-1.5K more, there is a BLACK one in Gravesend for sale £9,750 but dont know what the miles are looks avery nice IS to me

  20. i did not say i outrun it............you need to go back and look over the post's.........all i said was i stayed with him ;) i think he was in and old pig, i have seen pete's son's cose, and there would have been no way to keep up with that one but you have to understand not all cose are the same :winky: and as this one was old i went for it
  21. yea i think he did mate...........and no bazz it was NO replica by the way he pulled away to start with..........but dont forget he pulled away just at the right time for the IS to say with him ie 80+ as my understanding is the best speed for the IS to pull at as it can keep up with most cars pulling at this speed :winky: ← was it an escort or sierra ? either way they are at least 50 gee gees more not doubting ya, but theres probably more replicas out there than originals just waiting for pete to come along, he will love this thread ← it was a sierra...................and when the smoke started to come out of his car he pull over and stoped
