yea like Mr M............ says (hammerite) is best.........i will be doing my drum/hubs in time for the weekend :winky: i was hopeing to get the car back into the bodyshop so they could repaint the car but he told me he needs it for a week, so now its going in on Monday 26th ........... and it should all be done in time for the POD meet :winky: me drum/hubs will look better than the car

I didn't think it was safe on standard internals much above 250 / 260? I'll add you to the Ireland list buddy :D ← I think the MAX you can go with std internals is 300bhp .......... but the is how long will the std internals last at 300bhp ..............to be on the safe side i would only boost it to 280bhp max :D at .6 i think you will see about 260/70 :winky: any way let us know how you get on with it.............. :D

I think you will be ok mate,..................as i have Turbo on my IS and my car has done 110,000k :winky: But then im nuts

The point i was trying get over was............. someone on this post posted saying the IS200 was flat in 1st gear, and so i posted.............(as you know) Yes it is Flat in 1st, but once its in 2nd and so on................it pulls as good as most cars in its class, i then pointed out that from a rolling start the IS would kick it with most cars...............and with the Turbo the IS on a Rolling start, becomes very,very quick Car.............. :winky: and thats when i pointed out the Vid in GOLD as that IS300 in that vid all ways start from a rolling start, but by the looks off it i would think that IS300 would kick ***** from a stand still as well :winky:

yes i no a IS300T would pee over an IS200T but thats not the point i was trying to make ;)

The IS200 engine is flat as a pancake below 4,500 rpm, you need to keep it between there and the "red line" to get the best out of it. ← The only time the IS is flat as a pancake, is when its in 1st gear, keep it out off 1st and the IS pulls as good as any car on the road, :D But it helps if you have a Turbo as well :P :winky: ← Ok I'll bear that in mind and pull away from the lights in 2nd next time and see what happens sure it will get the 0 - 60 time down ← :P you know what im saying .................in 1st the IS is s :tsktsk: t we all know that but once its in 2nd 3,4,5,6 its as good as most cars out there, like i said before it Helps if you have a Turbo IS :P IS Turbo on a rolling start is very quick................. see the vid in GOLD off that IS300 in the US take on all them cars, all from a rolling start :winky: from stand still we all know the IS is ****, you have to get it into 2nd very quick ;) then you would be ok................
