"UPDATE" Hi guys, as you know i ****** my gearbox up when i fitted the Helix clutch, i went over and over what i did that day............well its like this when i went to refill the gearbox with oil i undone this nut thinking that it was the right one, but when i was undoing it " i was thinking this can not be it as it was takeing to long to undo" but any way i did undo it, but as soon as i got it undone i new it was not the right one,,,,,,,,so i did it up but as i was doing it up something come off the end inside the gearbox "ie" thats 5th gear gone ;) I was a bit ****** as it was santa pod the next day...... so as soon as i got back from the Pod on the sunday..........i PM Dave at Prolex.....and i was lucky as he had a 2nd hand gearbox for sale :D and it had only done 20,000 miles so this weekend i get the gearbox off dave, and today i went round my mates to fit it............. :D well i did not think i would be saying this but i am so Happy i **** my old gearbox up, as this new one is 100 times better than my old one, .............i can see now why i seemed to be so slow from standing starts .......... with this new gearbox the car just flys :D Big Thanks to Dave and (Prolex-uk)

Yeah, I was told all models have this, But after a bit of research and feedback ive found this is not true, only a few of the jap import altezza's are 'restricted' at top end. Mr Singh - Dont have the lexus yet, Im selling the supra to get the money to buy one, The information about restriction was from driving a friends car. cheers ← The IS is not restricted in any way ;) ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,the only thing that would restritc the IS is the Pre-cats ;) Thats right some imports are 'restricted' but the IS no!

yep...... :D with final gear ratios, if you lower the ratio, your take off speed will be quicker, at the loss of top end speed....also fuel consumption will go up. start a new topic and we can talk aboit it all day without going ← That sound good to me matt.............i like the sound off takeing off quicker.........as we all know im a bit slow at that :P

I just had Compression Test done, Cyl 1) 11.1/2Bar ;) Cyl 2) 11 Bar Cyl 3) 11 Bar Cyl 4) 11 Bar Cyl 5) 10 Bar ;) Cyl 6) 11 Bar What "Bar" should all the Cyl be at on the IS ;) Any one know!!
