HI Im going to do a full service on my 2001 Gs430 and was wondering at cheap price rockauto.com are selling denso coil packs and denso sparkplugs, are they going to be any good?

I think it was the whole dvd unit thing in the boot which would have fixed the heater bit and the satnav would have been in english too, but with the one I had it also had a separate dvd player with remote so I could watch dvd movies on it

There was a similar problem with a toyota celsior I had, well the sat nav came on but it was in Japanese and the heater bit didn't work, cost of repair was £1300 as they had to change something in the boot, I didn't get the work done, and sold the car

I remember it well as its an lpg converted toyota celsior

I've seen that car for sale about 2 months ago at just over £500

Hi Mike B the number plate ends with fhl and it is a nice car. Just one mark on it but apart from that for the year it's mint. The white wheels are growing on me. But I will get the colour changed to its normal silver colour. Eml was on, so I've replaced all o2 sensors using Denso ones but for some reason eml is still on. It's got a good service history by lexus and indy but it doesn't say anywhere sparkplugs have been replaced and it is missing a tiny bit so I'm going to give it a full service hopefully that should switch the eml off but eml isn't bothering me as it drives like a lexus should, no drop in fuel consumption or anything like that.

Hes selling another ls400 but forgot to mention the the sunroof isn't working, there's a slight blow in the exhaust and wheels need refurbing. I remember this car as due to the problems it was going cheap at £795. Actually the previous owner hasn't taken it off the website yet and it's all there to see.

I just got a quote from adrian flux for my gs430 at over £600 where as LV quoted me £425. Adrian Flux are always bad to me.

Hi It's going to be my first time ordering from the rockauto.com website so I have a question if someone can help, when it shows me a list of parts for example control arms, it shows different makes and cheapest to expensive, now do i need to order the most expensive brand as that's good quality or are the cheaper ones just as good? Hi I'm hoping someone can help. So I've bought a Gs430 2001 and im trying to tackle small issues to get it 100%. I've noticed the steering wheel is slightly out but the car drives straight, but when I turn left I can hear a creaking sound. I have ordered anti roll bar bush but I doubt that's the issue. Has anyone else had this problem?. I don't want to take it to have wheel alignment done until i know and replaced the part needed or should I take it to have the alignment done first? Thanks for that. I just had it on the ramp and the garage owner looked at with me there and even showed me that the ARB bush on the left side is faulty.

Hi Can anyone tell me the common issues on a 2001 gs430 please. I've had the car about 2 days and after the bad weather every time I turn the steering at slow speed i get a clunking noise, it's doesn't happen when I'm going at normal speed, it also happens when I'm going over a ramp slowly, it also happens at stand still when I turn the steering. Thanks in advance

Hi Well as you know my car was involved in an accident (mk3 gs300), and I was car less, well as a run about until I can afford to maybe but another mk3, I've bought a mk2 gs430, and what a lovely car it is. It doesn't have sat nav but then again I've never used a sat nav in a Lexus as they aint very good anyway, and on the way back from Portsmouth I did notice when braking it judders, I assume it's warped brake discs, and I've gotta get the air con re gassed, but apart from that, it's a lovely car. It light greenish in colour, oh and the person I bought it off put white alloys on it, i may change them, but apart from that I'm quiet happy with it so far.

I'm going to view this car later today to maybe buy it if the price is right as I need a run about until I can save up abit more and get a newer car.

So the idiot hit my parked car, pushing it onto the pavement then his car spun and also hit my friends parked car.

The third parties fault. He was drunk, the police were chasing him and he hit my parked vehicle

Im with Mike on this one. I don't like black wheels, for me and this is only my opinion it makes the car look cheap and tacky. But we all will know the car isn't cheap and tackey, but the wheels make it look that way. Sorry.
