  1. https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/lexus,2002,ls430,4.3l+v8,1387133,brake+&+wheel+hub,wheel+bearing,1672 There you go, front wheel bearing, skf
  2. The shocks, get them from rockauto, way cheaper than lexus and they last a long time, I know of 2 people who have bought them from there, a 3rd actually went for traditional suspension from rockauto on his ls430, he actually likes it
  3. Yes I have, remember, toyota/lexus dont make bearing, companies like skf, delphi etc make them, skf are a very good brand
  4. Tax and shipping is not and it will still be way more cheaper than lexus main dealer
  5. Well it's not really a Toyota wheel bearing, they dont make them, they just stamp the toyota name on it. Get an skf bearing from rockauto £300 for a bearing from lexus is daylight robbery, get an skf bearing from rockauto, they are around £70, get delivered to uk within 3 days
  6. I'm sure Rockauto in the USA has the part you need, and through fedex, you will receive it within 3 days
  7. Yep, told you, lol, the open and close functions worked on 2 ls430's I had
  8. Okay, get your key fob, hit unlock, doors will unlock, then hold unlock, it will beep and then windows will open, to close, hold lock, again it will beep, and then close,
  9. Its works on my 99 and it worked on 2 ls430 I had, one was a 2001 and the other was 2004, its worked on the gs300 mk3 I had and gs430 sport mk2 I had. On the sc430, it will just go down, but not back up
  10. You dont need to start the engine to close the windows, just hold down the lock button on the key fob, and the windows will either close or open, whichever you want
  11. Yes the ls430 is a nice car, especially the facelift, but not the most reliable
  12. Hi Yea Tein will be okay, people tend to normally go for conventional shocks from Rockauto or BC coilovers. Have you also fitted a separate gearbox cooler? If not, I'd suggest you do it as the ls430 suffer from gearbox failure due to coolant leaking from the radiator into the gearbox
  13. Yes, the ls400 were fitted with nakamichi , the earlier models, infact my brother had fitted Nakamichi speakers and cd player into his golf gti mk2, this was fitted back in the 90's, and to this day, it's still working, unlike the rubbish Mark Levinson system. He also has denon fitted into his corrado vr6
  14. The mark Levinson car audio system, and I'm sorry to say this, but its rubbish. It will always fail, this is just the start of it. The amp and speakers will fail too as they are made from cheap materials. The best thing for you to do is, replace the head unit with a better brand, speakers and amp too
  15. I've never heard of the ECU failing, it's usually always the motor. Mine is a bit temperamental in cold weather, but in hot weather or when the car warms up, it works fine. Maybe you need to find yourself a new mechanic as from what I've seen and read, its always the motor that fails
  16. Hi I'm no hybrid expert, but I do know this, you know where the hybrid battery is, there is this orange clip, when putting the clip back in, did you also push down so it clicks in properly?? If not, it wont start
  17. Hi Omg how long have I waited for this? At last its advisory free, I'm over the moon
  18. I forgot to add, I do actually use bp ultimate unleaded fuel
  19. Hi guys I went up to Scotland on saturday, got back this morning, anyway, I got great mpg cruising at 60mpg, the most I've got was 41mpg, but on Saturday I got 39mpg
  20. That's what is always doneafter installing a new battery and before starting an ls400
  21. If it's the alternator, the battery light will stay on. Did you do a reset after you connected the battery? If not, try it. Turn the ignition until the lights come on the dash, dont start it, leave it like that for 6 mins, then switch off, and then start the car
  22. Mine is dhp too, they used my reg and got the correct springs, but to be honest, even normal ls400 springs are good.
  23. Why dont you try your local car spares shop? I got kyb front springs for my ls400 from a local car spares shop, £30, I went in on the morning, they ordered them and were delivered by 1pm the sameday
  24. Yeah because the 430 and 460 are newer and dont show any signs of electrical faults or any faults. But do have air suspension issues, gearbox issues, air con issues, cd player and amp issues, speaker blowing, rust on both front doors, but hey, because he said good things about the 430, they are better than the 400 in your opinion too now?
