Really sorry. I know how you feel, my Gs had the same fate in July and they cat c it. Lucky no one was hurt. You can replace the car but not a life.

So hold on do you guys coast to save fuel? If so and you wanted to save fuel, why buy a big car knowing it's a guzzler and if your that worried about fuel why not lpg it? Unless it's a direct injection which of course you can't lpg but they are good on fuel. Well my mk3 gs300 was really good on fuel

I knew someone who used to coast in a gs300, guess what happened, his gearbox failed and so he sold the car

Regarding the one with 40000 odd miles on it, well the dealer said lexus birmingham made a mistake and they will be rectifying it. Apparently lexus birmingham have admitted this and the car has full lexus service history

Well he said he's buying that ls400 as a stop gap. No doubt it will be on for sale soon and excuse could be er Erm my wife thinks it's too big?

I'm starting to believe you Mike, he's always saying things like my wife doesn't like this Ls or that Ls and then goes and buys another. I wouldn't be suprised that in a couple of weeks he advertises the ls400 he's just bought and says something like I miss the ls430 or I'm looking for a different colour ls400 or ls430

I've got a friend who has a landcruiser amazon, he's been running it on lpg for the past 15 years with no issues at all

I had lpg on my ls400 with no problems at all. To be honest it's most german cars that have issues with lpg especially Bmw. I didn't have a single issue on the ls400 running on lpg. I think the guy is trying to make money of you. I'd try someone else

Have you also noticed the drivers side headlight is newer than the passenger side? It's definitely been accident repaired. Not worth the money he's asking for it at all

It's still too much for a car that is a cat c. He even says in his ad the trader have him some money back hence why he's lowered the price. He told me the trader won't speak to him on the phone.

Just type in lexus ls430 bc coilovers. I do understand what you mean, lexus do know about the issue with the air suspension but yet won't admit it.

It does look like he's a dealer, but I can assure you he isn't. Even I've questioned it, I've told him myself stop changing your lexus or else your going to end up with 1 that may need alot of work on it or 1 that is damaged repaired and look what's happened now, he's ended up with 1 that has been damaged repaired. But he still won't learn, but he is a nice guy

Baz isn't a dealer but just a normal guy that likes lexus and can't seem to make up his mind which ls he likes and then if his wife doesn't like it he will sell it and buy another

Baz is going to contact the dealer he bought it off, but something tells me he won't get his money back as I think the buyer should have done all nesscesary checks before purchasing the vehicle. Am I wrong in saying that?

I've got an email from baz saying something like he's spoke to the first owner and he told baz the damage to the rear quarter happened after the 14 yr old damaged the satnav screen. Make of that what you will but something doesn't seem right

Well I've just done a hpi check on baz ls400 and it's come up cat c. Well now it's not worth anywhere near what he's asking for it. No wonder the paint looked a different shade

Just seen baz ad and it looks like some people have asked about the rear panel so it isn't just me, looks like hes taken new pictures but it still doesn't look right.
