    Hi It took me about 3hrs, because its black thr dirt and small marks show up but the maguires ultimate compound seems to have taken care of most of the marks and got rid of swirl marks, I didnt do the bonnet as I was totally knackard, but the bonnet is brand new throught lexus warranty and only 2 weeks old. Oops and sorry due to couple of the pictures being the wrong way around, but if you click on the pictures, they turn the right way round and you can zoom in.

    Hi My Gs300, washed using Maguires gold class product, then polished using Maguires Ultimate Polish, then Maguires Ultimate Compound to take away swirl marks and then step 3 Maguires wax. I think real nice

    Hi there It just needs resetting. All you do is switch the car on, on the climate control, press the off button, keep it pressed until the mesg disappears.

    Hi I agree with the above, Lexus uk or GB do not import Japanese models. I do know something about the engine though and that is the common problem on the engine you have and the Turbo engines too have a headgasket issue, also as far as I know the Vertex model is the twin turbo, if yours isn't a turbo then yours is just a normal Aristo. Remember also they use the Toyota Supra engine, and they do have a headgasket issue.

    Hi Yes it is a common fault on the ls430 where the radiator leaks coolant into the gearbox causing gearbox failure, and remedy is to replace the radiator before it happens. Read up on the Ls forum and you'll see it there yourself. Apart from Lexus Guildford, most of the dealers try to down play it saying they've never had an ls430 or gs430 come into them with gearbox failure due to coolant leaking from radiator, that's probably because lexus charge a lot for a new gearbox

    Yes get the radiator replaced asap if it hasn't been replaced yet, you could probably still save the gearbox

    Hi If you have a Gs430 or Ls430 my advice would be to replace the radiator asap and also the gearbox oil. It's a common fault on the Gs430 and Ls430 for the coolant to leak into the gearbox due to the radiator.

    I've had the car since February I think and every time I put the vin number in on the lexus uk website recall bit it always said there is recall work needed on my car, but whenever I put the reg in, it would say can't find details, but anyway I raised this up with Lexus uk many times since February and they kept denying there was a recall on my car even on the vin number, but today get a txt saying to call them as there is recall on the vehicle and to book in.

    Hi guys Well I've just got my Gs300 back from Lexus Dealers after it had the bonnet replaced due to rust, but have now had a txt mesg from lexus to say my car is due recall work, so I called them up and booked in for the 9th of May to have a new fuel pressure sensor replaced. Apparently it's a 4 hr job, has anyone else had this recall, if so what is the fault with the fuel pressure sensor, I only ask because mine drives perfect.

A true Muslim believes God gave you life, and God is the only one who can take it from you. Malc What you've copied and paste is wrong and I find it very offensive, very offensive indeed and the thing is you know it's wrong as you looked at the urban dictionary.

    Hi Pjd If it bothering you that much as this seems to be going on abit now, best thing to do is get toyota pink coolant from your lexus main dealer, drain your old fluid and put your new fluid in. That should solve any issues you think you may have.

    Hi Usman This was the only way I could send a picture. Got the wheels refurbished last week to grey gloss. Sorry it's the wrong way round. I'll take some more once weather gets better

    Well I'm gonna be honest, the road noise probably will be worse than the BMW, you gotta remember the CT is just a Toyota with a Lexus badge on it. Test drive it and you'll see what I mean

    That looks really nice in white, but I'm not sure you will like the drive on it. Lexus gave me one for 3 days while they did some warranty work on my Gs300, and to be honest, I couldn't wait to get back in the Gs300. Yes the car Engine was quiet, but the road noise was horrible, absolutely horrible, you could hear and feel everything on the road, Probably the worst Lexus vehicle I had ever driven, but looks wise, and fuel economy wise, the car was good

    Hi For 1 he should have used the pink coolant as that is what should have been in the ls430 to start with. I was told by Lexus main dealer that all their lexus vehicles manufacturered after 2000 use pink coolant, but I'm not sure if this will make any difference, and did your mechanic use Toyota coolant? If not, I'd take it back, get it drained and use Toyota coolant as I've read somewhere using any other brand coolant can cause damage to the vehicle.
