  1. I placed my order mid Feb too (12th), NX350h Takumi, on my order form it said 18th August delivery, 2 weeks ago told by dealer it is early October, I dread to ask them again for another update, at this rate it will be 2023 before I get my NX !
  2. Glad that you are enjoying your first Lexus, and what a great car to start with. I have ordered a NX350h Takumi after owning my first lexus, an IS300h Premier, since 2013 and covering 200k miles from new with no major issues. I would never buy another make and did not even look at the competition (or lack of it!) when I ordered my NX. Can't wait for mine (due October) and jealous of everyone who has already got theirs.
  3. Hi Anne, how did you manage to order your NX350h in August when Lexus did not announce pre-ordering until September ??
  4. When I purchased my IS300h from Lexus Birmingham back in 2013 they gave me full info, ship name and ID, date departing, date expected etc. It was a fun few weeks watching it's progress on the marine tracking app. Hope to do the same for my new NX350h later this year.
  5. Thanks Ken, that does look good and your comments give me confidence that I have made the right choice !
  6. I agree that the brochure / lexus website colours look strange. I originally ordered my NX350h Takumi in graphite black with black and rich cream interior as the Hazel in the 'brochure' looked too dark for me and I could not find a car in 3 dealers local to me with Hazel. But, I have since viewed several pics and videos online showing Hazel, and it looks really nice and lighter than the brochure, so I have amended my order to Hazel without seeing it in real life. Just got to wait till October for delivery and hope that the amended order will not delay it further. If anyone has Hazel interior it would be nice to hear their views on it, also please share more pics on here.
  7. I have had my order placed since 12th February for my NX350h Takumi with expected delivery early October 2022, but today I popped into my Lexus dealer and have amended my order, changing from "Black and Rich Cream" to "Hazel" interior. Still have the same Order ID on the order form, but now the Lexus Link app won't log me in! I am hoping that it will not cause me to lose my build slot resulting in a delayed delivery.
  8. I have ordered 'black and rich cream' on my 350h Takumi, was tempted to have the Hazel trim but could not find a car in 3 dealers near me who had one to view, and the pics in the lexus brochure / website looked a bit too '1970's Tan' to me.
  9. I would say that timescales are getting longer. The day I ordered on 12th February I was told early September (7 months from order), now 4 weeks later I am told it is early October (8 months from order). And anyone ordering today is being told it is Feb 2023, so about 11 months from order. Anyone else have more info on this ??
  10. After owning and loving my IS300h Premier from new in 2013, it has now done 198k miles, so I have now taken the plunge and ordered a NX350h Takumi in metallic graphite black with black & rich cream leather. Ordered from Lexus Leicester on 12th February, told yesterday that delivery is due early October. They also said that demand is huge and if you ordered now thay are giving an estimated delivery date of February 2023 !!! Glad I put my order in last month, and just days before the price increase too.
  11. I have now had my screen replaced 4 times due to cracking since buying the car new in 2013 I have a IS300h Premier. The first time it happened after I turned the volume up full on the ML audio system whilst listening to Abacab by Genesis and a 2 foot long crack appeared with a bang!. Just make sure you get an original OEM part as the third party replacement glass may not be suitable, for instance I have the auto high beam and Lane keep assist camera and the first glass which came did not have the gap for the camera. I think the glass is fragile as in the 30 years of driving before I had my IS300h I only had one screen replacement, I drive approx 25k per year. I used Autowindscreens (other glass replacement services are available!).
  12. I have a 2013 is300h Premier that I purchased from new, it really is the best car I have ever had, I regularly get around 30 to 35,000 miles from the tyres I had the front brake pads and discs changed for the first time since new at 140,000 miles and the current mileage is 154,000 miles still on the original brake pads and discs on the rear from new. Driving it normally I get between 48 and 54 miles per gallon. Also servicing costs are less than my old car which was a 4-wheel drive Nissan Qashqai. After six years of very pleasurable driving it looks like new, it drives like new. Never let me down, love the Lexus brand and will not change to another manufacturer. Many thanks to Lexus Birmingham who have been excellent and serviced the car every 10000 miles since I purchased it from them in August 2013.
