Do you have any details as to why it is on hold? Official notice etc? Any idea as to when it will be available? I have a Takumi on order and this is the first I have heard of the remote parking being on hold.

Wow, if those prices are correct then they are out of reach for most loyal lexus customers, as well as not being competitive when you consider the range / performance on offer. The Takumi price is over £20k more that the NX350h Takumi that I have on order, I was previously considering cancelling my NX order and getting an RZ450e Takumi, but not at those prices.

I know that not everyone likes personal number plates, but they are becoming increasingly common. I had to wait 20 years before I could afford to buy my registration (my initials) in 2004 from a dvla auction, and looking at the current sale prices of similar registrations, I have not regretted it. I think that the short plates look great on my IS300h, what do others on here think?? I have been stopped by two traffic cops trying to tell me that they are illegal plates !! (They backed down only after I had to explain the law to them).

Another monthly update email from my Lexus dealer this afternoon:- My NX350h Takumi ordered 12/02/22 now has an allocated/build date of 15/11/22 and an ETA of 21/02/23 First time I have been told actual dates instead of just the approximate month for the ETA. Fingers crossed 🤞

Just had another call from my Lexus dealer telling me that my NX350h Takumi ordered on the 12th of February now has an estimated delivery of February 2023. Three weeks ago my dealer said it was March 2023, so it has come forward by a month. This is the first update I have had saying that the delivery date has come forward, every other update has indicated the delivery date slipping. At order - August 19th 2022, then updates Sept 22, Oct 22, Jan 23, March 23 now Feb 23. Is this a sign that production is increasing and getting through the backlog?? Hope so for everyone. Michael.

I was told by the dealer that my purchase price is fixed, as on the order form. I have no reason to doubt that it will remain the case. Time will tell as they say.

I would hope that Lexus UK, and the main dealer (part of the inchcape group) would honour my order contract and not cancel / vary it etc. I paid the standard £500 to secure the order, at the order price, no matter how many other price increases may come along. Michael

When I had my test drive of a NX350h Takumi in Feb, then placed my order straight afterwards, it was not a sales event, but I still managed to negotiate a discount of £3,000 off the list price (prior to the £1,500 price increase the week after), so as of today I am now paying £4,500 less than the current list price. By the time I get my car, possibly 2023 at this rate, I suspect there will be at least one more price increase (maybe another £1,500?) so on paper I would be paying c. £6,000 less than list price when I take delivery, so very happy with my timely choice. When I purchased my IS300h Premier in 2013, again it was not an event, but I managed to negotiate a discount of £5,000 and they even ordered the car with a £1,000 optional sunroof but never charged me for it on the invoice !! So in summary, you don't need a sales event to get a good deal, even from Lexus.

If you look at other pages, there are other sections of text in red. All sections in red text are updates from the previous version of the document. The front cover states "Updates model codes" in red text.

It's surprising what you can get if you ask for it, I just asked for it to help me choose which one to order ( the sales person must have seen ££££). I also got the IS300h document in 2013 before I ordered my IS300h Premier.

The post by Dave dts439 about paint codes reminded me that I had the document (given to me by a Lexus sales person, naughty) so I thought I would share.

With regards to NX350h vehicles, there seems to be a huge discrepancy on estimated delivery dates depending on which dealer you are with. You ordered mid Feb and have been told Oct / Nov. I also ordered my NX350h mid Feb (12th) from Leicester and have just been told not to expect it untill March 2023, some 4 or 5 months after yourself. Something is not right here!

I asked my sales man about cancelled orders and he said there have been less than 5% cancelled
