  1. I think the combination looks fine with the red interior, not seen this colour in real life, thanks for sharing. On a personal note, I have only ever purchased and owned black cars since 2004, and I have a black NX350h on order too. Prior to that I had 3 red cars 🚘, all of them kindly written off for me by 3 idiot drivers. P.S. I am not superstitious !
  2. Try getting a confirmed price on autoebid then ask dealers to match it.
  3. Sorry to say that looks like damage. Look at this video at around the 14:00 minute point
  4. Thanks for the info, all very encouraging and the Rav4 mpgs are fab. Well done Toyota / Lexus !
  5. Excellent mpg, how does that compare to a NX300h?, look forward to further updates in a few weeks.
  6. Lovely car, have fun. Now I am so looking forward to getting my 350h Takumi early next year.
  7. These are all very impressive results for mpg. Also have a look at another thread on here:-
  8. I ordered just before a price increase and asked for a discount to match an online broker, so was lucky I suppose.
  9. I totally agree Ken. Before I ordered my NX350h Takumi in February I was considering waiting and ordering a RZ450e when they became available. I am so glad that I didn't wait for the RZ450e. I am paying £51k for my NX350h Takumi, the price of the RZ450e Takumi is from £72k. I could not justify paying an extra £21k+ for the car, and then having to pay high electric costs to charge it. In the current fuel cost climate it just doesn't make sense. Don't get me wrong, I would love to own a Lexus BEV, I have been an Electronic Engineer for almost 40 years so it would be a dream come true. But with the high purchase costs, high energy costs, and limited range of around 250 miles, I am going to keep my 350h for at least 5 years until I can make the change to a Lexus BEV with the new solid state battery technology. Michael.
  10. After the 10 year /100k Lexus relax warranty has expired, there is also a little known 15 year / 150k Lexus warranty available, as I only found out last month talking to my Lexus dealer as my car had done 206k and is 9 years old so doesn't qualify for any now.
  11. Many thanks Phil, Ian and Andy for your replies, glad to know it's not just 450h+ owners who are pleased ( and surprised ) at their attained mpgs. I am so happy to have ordered my NX350h Takumi in February, seems like I have made a good choice, just want it now and not 'estimated' ETA of April '23
  12. For the AWD 350h, Lexus state a WLTP combined mpg of 44.1 to 47.9, which is bang on to what you experienced. I also currently have an IS300h and regularly see mpg over 50 on my 36 mile drive to work and back.
  13. So regarding the impressive mpg figures quoted here when empty, I.e. Hybrid/ICE only mode, I have a couple of points to discuss / query. Would I be correct to assume that what you lucky 450h+ owners are getting (mpg) is actually above what Lexus state for Hybrid/ICE only mode? Although I could not find that spec data. When a 450h+ is in the Hybrid/ICE only mode, is the utilised hybrid battery capacity the same as in the 350h?? The ICE is the same I believe. So, would a 350h get similar, or even more, mpg in its standard Hybrid/ICE only mode than a 450h+, as the 350h is lighter ( by 160kg ) due to not having a heavy HV battery?? It would be good if any 350h owners can comment on their mpgs for comparison etc. I know that 350h's are as rare as rocking horse poo (waiting for mine), it seems that most users on here own a 450h+
  14. Many thanks for the info Steve (and to Mrs K for the confidence vote)
  15. No rush, I am going to get them fitted on my 350h Takumi which has been on order since Feb, but at this rate I will probably not get it until mid 2023 !
  16. Hi Steve, can I ask what you paid to have them fitted? Various posts above say £395 or £375 or £299 deal etc
  17. I only wish I knew Simon. It seems to only affect those who ordered a NX350h, and delivery timescales now seem random. At least my dealership (Leicester) have been honest and even emailed me a screenshot of their order system showing my vehicle ETA.
  18. I asked my dealer about the NX350h model / specification affecting delivery dates and he said that wasn't an issue as f sport or Takumi NX450s are not additionally delayed.
  19. Hi Peter, I see that you ordered your car after I did but have been given an ETA some 5 months before mine. How can that be right? It seems like delivery dates are completely random and not based on order dates. And earlier in this topic Mattsneaker said: I do hope that both your ETA of November, and Matt's of August are correct, but if they are correct then why is my ETA April next year? I have raised this discrepancy in ETAs with my dealer today and he will try to find out why. He also said that if you ordered a NX350h today that it would be unlikely to be delivered until 2024 !
  20. Just had my monthly update from my Lexus dealer about my NX350h Takumi ordered on 12th February. The ETA has now slipped back since last month's update of February 2023 and is now showing as April 2023. Not happy since I was told on the date I ordered it that the ETA was 19th August 2022, I.e. 3 weeks today.
  21. £299 is great value, I will get the same. How did you manage to order last July? I thought that orders were only open from 1st Sept 21.
  22. Well, 58.5 miles could have been accumulated over several trips, so that is irrelevant. Also multiple trips could apply to the average of 27 mph since it was manually reset. If you start and drive off in ev mode only, the 'After start' would indeed show 99.9 mpg, even if you only drive 100 metres or so.
  23. Do you like my mileage and mpg? https://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/topic/133270-200000-miles-and-counting/ Anyone can get 99.9 mpg, just drive in EV mode and reset the average mpg reading.
  24. Many thanks for the info, will pester lexus dealer too
