Hi there,
First off, this is my first post, been reading some stuff on this forum that helped me, so I figured I'd make an account to ask this question!
I was driving home from work today and tried snow mode for the first time.
Am i right in saying the car drives in higher gears, hence the low RPM, to maximise engine breaking?
And I also noticed my MPG went up to around 40 at one point!
So it seems more economic to drive the IS200 in snow mode, and when you need to pull away, at a roundabout for example, then turn it off?
Oh and do you guys think it would hurt the car to keep switching the modes around all the time?
Oh and i forgot to add i drive an automatic
Thanks!
