  1. It is a little tiresome that it seems that its only a great car, in many circles, if it drifts easily. Its just not the whole story.
  2. Try Chris Harris's review on the RCF, much more balanced.
  3. My car had clearly had the front wheels repaired and whilst the shade of colour looked right, the sheen and glass like shine of the originals was missing. Difficult to reproduce, I would imagine.
  4. There is only one generation of c63 the previous fast Cs were C55, "M3" may cover many generations of car.
  5. Bargain......not!
  6. ^ a BMW 3 or 5 series msport looking at the car park at the McLaren/RR dealer in Hockley heath.
  7. That's where I used to have mine done Alan, nice folks.
  8. The full is required at the evens only. When I had mine they said in effect the service regime is basically as the IS250...save for a bit more oil, and the extra stuff on the 60k. My 80k Full service was £350 approx., so it seems they have decided to ramp up the prices. Maybe they think they can extract a bit more money out of those with Fs. Not on really.
  9. The M4 has loads of space in the back , oh and its lighter.
  10. Jesus you guys sound like you work for Auto Express, its obviously not as big as the IS-F in the back but it looks cosy rather than useable.
  11. ^the rear seats are unusable for adults?? are you sure, its a big car much larger than my 1 series coupe but my mates have travelled in the back no sweat.
  12. The RCF may have little negative effect on ISF prices if so few have been sold, it may if fact have the opposite effect perhaps. Unless as someone mentioned they start selling the demos off all at once. Do dealers have RCFs in yet?
  13. I've paid £10 at one BMW dealer but not at another. Its only an admin fee, there is a cost to them so I don't mind. Didn't ever pay at Lexus Wolverhampton though.
  14. I heard there are only 2 orders for RCFs.
  15. Exactly low demand and high prices....nothing is moving. Agreed, surely there will be some reductions soon, at least for the traders who need to shift stock. I'm still considering another one, but I won't be looking seriously for a couple of months.
  16. The prices are high at the moment but you'll notice they are not selling. Its rare to see 11 for sale on Autotrader.
  17. You won't get smoking inside wheels even on early cars as the diff is electronically controlled, so its not a standard open diff.
  18. I took my 08 is-f on 5 track days in the UK and once to the ring. Not having a mechanical LSD didn't spoil my fun. ;-)
  19. The insurance paid out and I had gap, why would I want to have it back and repair??? I'm shocked it was a D given the engineer told me it was 15k minimum, even if they ordered all the rear panels rather than the shell, and that didn't include and contingency. It must have been sold on for around 8k given the final claim costs.
  20. yeah that's expensive, its a major but should be £350ish I would think.
  21. I didn't sell it, I had an disagreement with a tree and the tree won.......and then it was written off. Someone has obviously purchased it and rebuilt it. The Engineer at my insurer told me it needed a shell, but they couldn't buy one.
  22. yeah maybe...its one option. Mine was such a great car, and reading through some of the threads here, (I've not visited in a while), it gets you excited about them again. :)
  23. Sad really, miss it a lot. Wish it had been broken for parts, not that many IS-F need spare parts!!!
  24. Always liked the red....the Cardiff car is tempting. The one in brum would need to come down a few grand for me to consider it. The BMW 135i Coupe I have now, whilst a very lively and characterful small coupe, is no V8 and in reality is no cheaper to keep on the road.
  25. I can't believe the price of the red 2008 58K mile IS-F now at B'ham Lexus (was at wolves Lexus). I paid 3K less than that for mine, back in June 2012 for a 2008 car with the same miles!!! Crazy. There is a red one also at Lexus Cardiff (where I purchased mine) for the same money 25K with less miles and two years younger! Prices seem to be all over the place.
