The first gen RX does not have bluetooth but you can easily add it with a GROM type device.

Well when i posted the same post 6 or 7 months ago 3 other ppl also found there header tank empty or very low after checking, then someone at the meet and now OP. Thats 7 including myself... ide say its quite common. Im not saying a leak is the issue, i think coolant does just evaporate over time and needs topping up. although i did think mine was leaking but found it to be my headlight washer pipe. so just screenwash lol

This is quite common. I found mine bone dry after i bought it and have seen numerous other owners in the same situation, including a fellow member at the meet last saturday. Dont think it always means a problem as mine has been fine after i topped it up. i think owners just forgot over years and year to keep a eye on it as its fairly hidden

For a IS300 in that condition, expect around 3k depending on milaege and what has been done Looks really nice btw, blacks grown on me on these and love the rims. Wish i bought a 300 in first place lol

You've obviously not had a good experience, and without wishing to start anything I don't think the 220d was Lexus's finest achievement. In my experience Lexus have been immaculate and its the first time in 30 years of motoring I've bought the same make twice, let alone in succession. I went into the dealer today to sign the final papers etc and mine is sitting in the showroom looking absolutely fantastic. Don't know how I'm going to get through the next week though! I had a good experience buying it , free coffee and all the bull , good deal etc. 3 years old with Just 24k on the clock I didn't expect to be told just 10,000 mainly motorway miles later all my brakes including discs could do with replacing , needless to say I was not impressed . I'm an contract engineer with JLR Powertrain not some numpty who wouldn't know how to open a bonnet , I've never worn a set of discs out on any car in near 40 years of driving . I don't like being had for a mug , I was also told the current discs were not genuine Toyota , so they had already been changed before 24k !! I do however have a deep seated loathing of Garages, Dealers call them what you like , having worked at a main dealer , during part of my apprenticeship . Lexus having pinned their hopes on hybrid , rather than diesel have sort of helped make up my mind that my next car will be a Jag XF . I won't be buying a BMW, having worked for them and being made redundant so I just couldn't do it. Audi are just a VW. There again I may buy an Accord , having previously had 3 Rover 600's which were bullet proof I agree - If you want diesel Lexus isnt for you

Well its a nice surprise when i do so much urban driving and on a long run doesnt seem much different to my last car which was a 1.6 and struggled at high speed

Just hit half a tank with the majority of driving going to Warwickshire and back for the LOC meet, not bad considering I normally struggle to get 170. I reckon i could get 250 if it was 100% motorway

mine deffo wont be clean driving up lanes and such, i went mountain biking today Im setting of at 8.30 to be there for 10am. I will be looking out for other Lexus's on the motorway prolly be waving at randoms knowing my luck :zee: night

try that engine cleaner stuff. ive heard good things. also mine runs better on none supermarket fuel. and K&N give 1 - 3 mpg more on some cars but not sure about IS

Dont worry you wont get any of those diesel remarks here, thats what i love about the LOC. were very like minded in that sense :)

I think we have very similar level of taste when it comes to the IS because you took the words right out of my mouth! If i had money i would have those rims and spoiler. Shame we cant meet you at the meet tomorrow J, but ill take some pics for you
