  2. Instead of starting a new thread i will just quickly ask here. Just to confirm, having the tracking done wont fix the uneven tyre wear?
  3. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bci1w-0sgJE

  6. Well im doing all 4 calipers black with silver decals which im happy with but am weary about doing drum if it would look bad. Pics welcome ;)
  7. Advice pls. Would it look bad if i painted drums too ive sen it before but it can look tacky maybe grey for drum?
  8. And you need neowedge for switches
  9. oh i see. Thanks. Btw meant switch around front tyres temporally to even out the wear
  10. Hey Chris. Didnt you post the WIM settings not long ago? if so could I print this out and take it somewhere local you think? Had my wheel off today to paint calipers and noticed mine is suffering this too, im thinking to switch the tyres to prevent further wear for now
  11. Welcome. Can see why you paid £3700 its a stunner. The type R is to raw for me which prob makes me a pussy lol
  12. Oh sorry thought you had 4k. £1500 should get you a good example
  13. seems like you have similar priorities you want from a car to me, and the IS ticked all the boxes for me. Take performance and MPG out of the equation and you got a perfect all rounder, both not important to me. About the S2000, the performance is great, but im the same and prefer a effortless power delivery from a fast car, such as a SC or Turbo V8. AMG for example. Dont get me wrong I appreciate the appeal of a high revving engine but its not for me, plus the S2000 is as basic as they come
  14. The more you pay the less maintenance and work you'll need to do down the line. If you want a luxary car in a small package the IS might be for you but like you said you dont buy one if you have the need for speed. Personally if i had 4k to spend ide iether get a mint is300 or mk2 IS250 if were strictly speaking lexus. There is no other problems with the IS200 except for calipers. They are solid and you'll have years of trouble free motoring as long as yoh dont neglect it. I also wanted the cheaper tax and found a 2000 that was perfect. Not sure about the key thing mine has 2 and im fine with that. And yes TTs have there problems. The v6 ones were better.
  15. Ill check out that BG44K. btw it was redex's saying about being a energy drink, it was on the cardboard label lol, didnt actually expect it to give me performance just good to clean injectors etc
  16. Yeah, you didnt say you checked the water pump. but ill be honest, im worried for you after saying you havent changed tensioners. Its a well known cause of problems particularly with these cars.
  17. Useful advice thanks however ive cleaned, polished and touched up where nessasary and it looking nearly unoticeable but its been wet which plays in my favour I think. Ill reasess next time I give her a clean and go from there. Thanks again for advise guys
  18. Thanks so much Ian! but i also have one and have done my best to touch it up for the time being. saying that mines almost empty so i may take up your offer. ill be at the meet
  19. Thx for info. Is it easy to pull off trim?. Ive got some heavy duty adhesive. The hairline scratch isnt anything major seems trim did its job
  20. This is a popular mod for PC versions. youtube it
  21. Your probably right, but its nice to know its cleaning stuff, which cant be bad on a 13 year old car
  22. Hi. i did esquire if you remember but im afraid i just cant justify the long journey also because i am selling my car next year. If you were closer i would snap it up in a heart beat. I would recommend freegle or ebay and just do a rediculous price like £10 and someone will snap it up
  23. Should i buy new trim or somehow restore the paintwork? also got a hairline scratch on the door from the same scrape :( im angry at myself but at the same time it is what it is
