  1. Happy days! I paid around £300 for mine with Adrian Flux for 5k a year. But will definitely try yours next time it comes around.
  2. My mechanic in Sandbach is brilliant with all Toyota/Lexus cars. If you fancy a trip to Cheshire I will happily introduce you.
  3. Happy new year to you all from @UCanPlayTV! Also, we are 10 this year and have some birthday celebrations planned: http://t.co/AeRx6uabOY

  6. Everyone with an interest in education should read this: https://t.co/a2q947omv9

  7. Give them a quick hoover or blast with pressurised air? If that doesn't work, perhaps used parts?
  8. Thanks. I will check the boot although I haven't noticed any water ingress. I'm guessing that the settings should be 'remembered' once they have been set but on both this car and my previous one they didn't for the left/right balance.
  9. Quick question re the audio control settings. As you know, they set the fade and stereo split for the audio accessed by pushing the left hand dial in. As it is usually me in the car on my own, I like them set with a bit more sound coming out of the left side than the right. However, when I start the car the default is always slightly more to the right which requires me to adjust it again! Funnily enough, the front/back split seems to remain in the same position! So, is there anyway that I can save my own preferred audio balance without having to reset it every time?
  10. Hope you've got a big driveway! I'm struggling to find a place to keep my MX5 now that I'm back in my LS400.
  11. Here's one of @SandbachSchool in 1951 with what looks like an outside swimming pool: http://t.co/waTcvEchl3

  12. Have a great evening everyone. Here's to another happy year of quiet motoring! I will raise a glass of Balvenie to you all. Have a good one and happy new year!

  14. Yes, happy new year to all the great Lexus folk here!
  15. I had a quote from Leuis Stoke before Christmas. It was £795 excluding the water pump. My mechanic is going to do it for me in a week or so for around £350. He will check the water pump who the engine is stripped and if there is any sign of water seeping out I will get it replaced. To be honest, I will probably ask him to replace it anyway.
  16. My pair of part worn Falkens came off eBay. I was pleased with the £30 I paid plus postage and they were in great condition.
  17. Yep, toyota red every time for me too.
  18. Welcome! I can't help you with the specific question re the gear box but I'm sure someone who can will do so soon. Have you posted in the model specific forum too?
  19. Welcome to this great forum and good luck in your search for a Lexus. I'm sure you and your wife will be pleased. I will look forward to an update in due course.
