  1. A quick screen shot for your amusement
  2. I currently have four odd budget on my is250 (I bought the car with these fitted) As the temp outside has been dropping the behavior of my car has been becoming hilarious! Looking at some reviews for bct s800 tires confirmed my suspicions. Im getting four kumho's fitted on Saturday, I'll report back with what I think of them. On my old is200 I've previously had a full set of Avon zv5, fantastic tire in the wet. Two full sets of falkens ,not as good as the Avon in the wet but a better feel in the dry and lasted longer, still a very good tire even in the snow.
  3. To be honest I was sat in my car waiting to pick up my daughter from brownies and I was fiddling with all the buttons to see if I access any hidden menus on the dash. I'll be interested to hear if works on everyone else's car. Ben.
  4. Is there a particular reason you'd choose the IS220d?
  5. Some times in frosty and snowy weather as I live at the bottom of a hill traction control can cause a issue getting on my drive way plus I like the smell of tyre smoke.
  6. Ive owned my 07 IS250 for about 4 months. After owning an 02 IS200 for just over 4 years. After a bit of googling and searching on here to try to get the traction control off properly using the pedal dance and other methods I gave up because nothing seemed to work. But last night I managed to figure it out. With one foot on the brake pedal hold down the traction button and at the same time toggle the switch to the right of it between snow and pwr a few times and it will disable the traction control and stability control systems until the ignition is cycled or the traction button is pressed again. Hope this helps. Be carfull with the traction control off, I was surprised how easy it was to light the tyres up with minimal effort. 😶
  7. I have an IS250 and these two small ducts are blocked with a plastic plate. Is there an IS model that utilises these for brake cooling or any other air intake? on a separate note, why are windows tablets absolute crap!? I took this pic using a asus transformer book and I'm using it to type this. when I took the pic it was the correct way up and it is the correct way up in the folder, but attach it to this post and mr laptop decided it needs to be the other way up for some reason?!? WTF?? I even tried inverting It in the pictures folder and inserting it in to the post again but nope, it's still the wrong way up. . . wa*ker laptop!
  8. That's excellent, cheers chaps. It gives me a few things to try. I'll try to report back if I find it is anything different than what these guys have found.
  9. It's not a huge problem but it is quite annoying. Does any one else have this issue? If so how did you fix it? Thanks Ben
  10. I had a full set of Avon ZV5's on my old is200, fantastic in the wet and really good in the dry, I've since had 2 full sets of Falkens that haven't been as good in the wet.
  11. I'm in Kettering
  12. All fixed, for people in suffering the same issue, Remove the side panel under the glove box in the passenger side foot well (RHD car) exposing a large fuse and connector board, one by one (important so you done get them all mixed up) pull each connector out and spray terminals in the plug with WD40 and refit. jobs a good'un- car's back to normal- everyone is happy.
  13. Mine has just started doing this exact same thing this morning. :(
