  1. Hi All, i was driving home the other day and noticed my LHS bulb seemed rather bright on the road. at first i thought my RHS bulb had gone. under investigation, the LHS bulb isnt moving when i switch the lever for the level. i can hear the motor whirring on the RHS and the light moves up and down, but the left is dong nothing. upon opening the bonnet, i removed the cover to look inside where the headlamp bulbs are, the motor isnt whirring and when switching the lamp level to different numbers, the unit isnt moving. i did plan on removing the whole headlamp unit to see if the motor had died or something but havent found anything online to assist in the removal. any ideas to explain what has happened or assist in diagnosing the problem would be gratefully received.
  2. cheers for the link, i tink i might give my nearest lexus dealer a call to explain my issues and see what they say.
  3. hi all, i have owned an is220d for the last couple of years. it is a 56 plate, and the air con has never been serviced to my knowledge. so last week, it was due an MOT, took it to a local garage and asked them to service the car, do the MOT and service the air con. the reason i wanted it servicing wasnt just because it had been a couple of years, but when it was on, it was cold. but not so cold that you had to move your hands away from the vents... plus when you switched off the air con, it would often leave an odd smell lingering in the cabin. got my car back on friday afternoon. first thing i did was switch on the air con to see if i could tell the difference.... and nothing. air coming out was hot to begin with, then it cooled but didnt feel like air con air at all. took it back to the garage yesterday, they have refilled the gas, emptied tried differing levels of gas and still nothing. all i know is, the day previous, the air con button made the air very cold, now it doesnt appear to do anything. any ideas?
