I'd be interested as long as it wasn't the week of the 4th. I'm on a course in Reading...

You guys keep posting, Next question is..........Athlon or P4? or even a G4/G5 Mac?
Personally I'd say Intel processors every time, but thats just my opinion. I'm sure others will disagree...

I sold a plate on eBay a couple of months ago. 1st time in, it got no bids, but second time around there was a lot more interest so don't dispair if it doesn't sell first time.
Didn't make a huge amount of money, but as it came on my car I wasn't bothered too much - Any money was a bonus!

I'd recommend Dell too. We have been buying them at work for the last year and they are reliable and nicer to look at than the IBMs we used to buy.
I'm not a big fan of Dell laptops though. My new D600 isn't a patch on the IBM Thinkpads I've had before, so I probably wouldn't buy one with my own money.

don't do it, it is not good for the transmission.
What does it do Colin? Is this why you're not supposed to tow an Auto for any distance?

Well done lad.

It's alright thanks Ifraz, don't fancy listening to the sound of those two ***** all night :P
Its alright Aido, I'm quiet as a mouse, but I can't speak for Zee...
Don't know why the word "snoring" has been edited by the profanity filter in your post though mate!

Thanks guys! Unfortunately I'm at work today (nobody should have to go to work on their birthday).
Haven't got much planned for later so I'll probably just have a play in the snow this evening - make sure that my 4wd works!
Don't think that anyone's got any surprise parties planned - my Mum didn't even get me a card for ***'s sake!

Nice one! This should be a laugh! Have you booked a hotel?

Go here if you like good steak... Went twice in November while in Vegas. Its raving expensive though, but worth it I think. Don't think that they serve beer though Aido, so not sure if it's your kinda place!

Sorry to hear about this Rob. I remember when my car was done, the worst thing was not being able to remember what was in it at the time. I was still realising things were missing weeks later.

Isn't Shell V-Power the 100RON stuff in Europe?

Hi Dolo, I sold my GS300 after about 6 months for the same reasons. I too found the ride unbearable. I had a Sport and so expected the ride to be firm, but I found the way it crashed and banged over uneven road surfaces and skipped across the road when going around uneven corners unacceptable for a car of this class. I also noticed the wind noise, but that wasn't a major reason for selling.
I loved a lot of things about my GS. The looks and individuality were far better than the BMW 528i which I owned previously, as were the smoothness of the engine and gearbox. It was also a really comfortable place to be on a long journey (as long as the roads were smooth!). The handling wasn't as good as the BMW, but I knew that before I bought it.
The ride quality in my Audi S3 is actually better than in my Lexus. Everyone I know who has been in both cars agrees with me on this. The Audi has the firmer ride, but it handles uneven surfaces and potholes far better. This really surprised me - a hot hatch with better ride quality than a luxury saloon!
