  1. The gearbox on my 2002 rx seems to have given up the ghost. This morning I tried to start it, which it did but very slowly. It has been standing for a couple of weeks, and the battery seemed to be almost flat, plus it was very cold last night. At first it seemed to misfire but then ran smoothly, but the throttle would not respond. Checking under the bonnet the throttle linkages would not move, but, after warming up for ten minuttes, it suddenly started to respond to the throttle.

I assume that all of this was because the battery was almost flat, and needed to be charged up before it could start to feed the circuits.

However the gearbox will not engage any gears whatsoever. I was wondering if there is a fuse or relay which has blown, and where it is located.

Any thoughts on this would be much appreciated?
