  1. I do believe Stephen is correct i sometimes Take bends a bit sharpish and it is very rare i am in Sport or Sport + and i Have nil body roll so i think something happens with the shocks i do believe they compensate the body roll I may be wrong but i am sure some of the bends i have took the back end would have let go but the car as been firmly planted to the road
  2. Yes Yes Totally agree The bean counters are in by the look of it and soon as they come in Quality goes through the floor whilst having mine serviced at Hull i noticed a ES which looked tasty from where i was sat i got up and looked inside not a patch on the GS so my next car may not be a Lexus as they dont have a GS replacement
  3. Well Done Boris you will not be disapointed with your purchase I too like you at my first 450 a few years ago thought CVT i dont think i will like that But i did and still do They also panned the Sat Nav which i must agree can be challenging sometimes but it as got that many features on first use is a bit of a fiddle but in truth it as never let me down or got me lost never. How about a few Photos Boris Congrats on your purchase Robert
  4. Just Phoned Hull and they say it is not applicable to my Model In truth i cant really believe it really but the said no
  5. No F A it didnt have one and like you i thought there should have been i did ask the Dealer (TonBridge Wells) said no these are only the 2 keys we had.
  6. Thanks for that F A Surely there cant be that much difference im sure one from F type should work
  7. thanks for that Bart well that proves that the mk 4 can use the credit card type key
  8. I thought about seeing if i could get a Card key from Dealers for my Mk4 2018 Gs450 but they said No they dont do them for your Model but my old 450 se had one and i thought it was a cool thing . As anyone else heard this or have one for the Mk4 I know the yanks Use the one from the F Sport. Maybe its one for Colin. Oh one more point what is the latest Sat Nav update TIA Robert
  9. Lexus Hull fitted my Next Base Dash cam They run a wire (apparently) from the Fuse Box (pass Side) installed a Voltage drop Gizmo run wire up a Pillar to dash cam . I wish i had got one of those i could have done it my self I have seen those mirror adapters on the American Sites i didnt know we could get them here good on you Mark for finding them Here i am sure it will help other Members Robert
  10. I may be wrong bur arnt Dash cams 5 volt they have USB connection where the mirror supply is 12 v but thnking about maybe the dimming side is 5 volt Check it out mark
  11. sounds like a bad earth or even as others have said it may be a duff 12v battery toyta have a decent price for a battery that fits as i recall a few years ago when i had a gs300 my battery went bad and i experienced problems that you describe the storeman at lexus advised me to go to toyota and get one from them 185 from lexus 77 from toyota exact same battery
  12. Steven isnt the strap holder for first aid and Locking nuts on Rhside my old GS3 was and the gs4 is in same place
  13. I connected mine to wiper fuse on passenger side with a piggy back fuse what Herbs mentioned but you need a a USB drop voltage module to bring 12v down to 5v . most cameras are mini usb so needs 5v but if you need 12v just piggy bacl a non ign fuse and run wire up pass side Air bag trim no need to remove it just enough to thread cable behind. There is also 12v feed at the sunroof switch but thats 12 v. modules are on ebay for a few quid
  14. Yes Jim that will sort it Sorry i Called you Dougie and apolagy to Dougie i shoud have read it more carefully Apolagies Robert
  15. classic symptom of failing 12v battery change the battery Dougie or it will let you down in the worse place you could imagine it will be sods law
  16. Ollie very well done Shows with perseverance anyhing can be achieved Good on you
  17. Sergio re the auto dipping mirrors it may have been reset So Put the car in reverse hold it on the brake set each mirror to the position you would like then take the car out of reverse and the mirrors will go to the Position before you adjusted them As in your normal driving position as to thephone book you need a iphone as i too had a 55 reg many years ago and i could not get the phone contacts to go over i think you have to do them one at a time which is a b*** ache but i am sure there is another way some one will pop up Colin I would suspect HTH Robert
  18. Totaly agree with Linas its due to the wide steering angle have you noticed you can usually do a full turn in the road just like you see on yank films i love it. the bump on full lock is of no concern
  19. Kijan Must say i had Potenzas on my mk4 that i bought in Februay and they were horrendously Loud they held road ok but the Noise was Horrible
  20. Mark I do believe they are differnt frequency and it wont work I may be wrong and you may be able to reprogram but i doubt it
