Hi all While sat in car awaiting my daughter i was messing with the display I found a email section but have never seen a email come in while I have had the car. I do get SMS sometimes as I have set up the Online Option ( which by the way is Ok for The What Where Screen in Navigation) but the screen does say it can recieve Emails but it does not. As anyone tried this or is the option not set for UK its not a deal breaker but I just wondered if it could be Implimented car is 2018 Gs450h Premier thanks Robert

Thanks for that John it was a lady that answered she said they were awaiting the parts. i have sinced rang again and they confirmed what you said and will send me an invitation to come in to have it done. I have not had a letter of recall as yet as i said i got the info off the DVLA MOT Site to check my MOT date thats where i found the Recall info nothing specific Just that there is a recall Notice. Hi Richard Yes i have same well not the letter but was checking on DVLA for my mot date and there it was "There is a recall for this vehicle contact your Dealer" well i rang Lexus sheffield and they said it was for a Fuel pipe as my car needs servicing in Feburary said leave it till then its not critical I did say well why is it on if its not critical. The answer was a few Vent pipes have perished so have to be replaced so ithink i may take it in dont like the idea of fuel Vapour leak. Robert

Hazel If you have just bought the car from a dealer get him to put it right he may have serviced it and changed that cabin filter without putting into the Recirc Mode to change the filter(if not the flimsy arm on that lever breaks) Its a few years ago but it cost 25 for the Lever and shaft and 50 for fitting took 30 mins Robert

Contact Lexus there is a repair kit for this I had this happen on my old Gs300 the glove box needs to come out, I did document it in a post a few years ago 2012 or so , The problem it causes is that you have no control over Recirc and fresh it mostly drops the flap which puts it in Recirc Sometimes if you accelerate sharp the flap pivots and makes a Slapping sound and goes to Fresh intake then drops back to recirc

If the Heat shield is hanging it will be touching rear silencer (if that is where its Damaged) as there isn't much room unless its all fell off)

Yes the Heat Shield if you don't repair it the remaining bits will rattle like hell

One thing bothers me: if your main fuse is blown, how the interior lights can work? i do believe that fuse protects the hybrid system hence traction battery going flat

Umar I am not saying that it is this that as happened, but there is a procedure for removing our batteries To remove battery you must remove negative first then positive last this is where it can blow that fuse and if the radio is on can blow that, Install Positive first Negative Last I have doubt that its the wrong battery 12v is 12volt i may be wrong as i am in my 70s i do get things wrong now and then

Umar Surely If the traction battery is only 3 years old it should be still under warranty and if serviced by Lexus they should replace it.

I do believe all Tyre fitting places will not damage the TPMS as they would have to repair it My Local Tyre Fitting Org Manor Tyres Stainforth as looked after me for years and Never once have i had any problems with TPMS my latest Tyres are Goodyear Eagles and are whisper Quiet when i bought the car They had Bridgestones Potema i think that was name they were horrendously noisy. Also HanKook are a nice quiet and good wearing Tyre i had those on my Previous Mk4

i too have 2018 premier superb running car all the goodies just remember the power you can go a little faster than it appears due to the sublime way it gets down the road oh and welcome to the forum

nice car Lee thats the face lift before the mk 4 i had one same year and was perfect the phone interacted fine it loads of music options. and even tho it was a bit hit and miss it had voice control for just about anything well done

Hi All Does any one know the button sequence to self check the servo operation on the 450h mk 4 i seem to vaguely remember on the mk3 it was IGN off Press AUTO and OFF together then turn on Ign I may be wrong was quite a few years ago My RH Side driver vent doesnt seem to be working I do believe when you did this procedure it reset all the servos and gave out a code on the display maybe Question for Colin TIA Robert

David It should reset its self but you may need techstream but try taking off Petrol cap and reseating it those lights do come on when petrol cap seal goes. i had a 55 gs300 and that did that on regular basis i changed the petrol filler cap and it never did it again HTH Robert

Thanks for that John it is now coming through on FM but not DAB I have found out that it no longer works on DAB TOYOTA/LEXUS have incorparated it into the Connrcted Services Which i do use but only when you have a route in the sat nav and that works very well but on roads i know dont use the Sat Nav so i suppose will have to put sat Nav on every route i take It was just that the Junction just over the River on way to Hull is completely Closed and no annoucment about it But Appreciate your answer I havent got a hand book so i have looked it up on line so now have the PDF file Thanks Robert

Yes and a lot cheaper than the Lexus one and More Amps No brainer Just go to toyota with Part num i believe mine was £ 77 couple of years ago beats 220 for Lexus one Went in just as Keith Mentioned

Hi all I have a 2018 GS450 h that i have had just over a year I noticed over last few days The traffic Anouncment is not working I have looked to see if there is a TA Button but cannot find one But in truth i dont think it as ever worked does anyone Know if it as been deprecated I did find DAB and FM Settings saying on But have never heard A traffic annoucment ever I do get something over the sat nav. The reason i ask is i live in yorkshire and sometimes go to hull but One side of M62 is closed ( the bridge over the Humber) and i would have thought that TA would have anounced this. As anyone had similar Experience with this. Thanks Robert
