I had something similar on my last 55 plate gs300 i got the local Toyota dealership to do a drain and refill which by the way is the reccomended way they charged me £65 and it transformed it it was smooth before after i had run a couple of miles as it was hanging on to 3rd gear for a bit longer than normal and reving a bit higher but Toyota said it was normal but the drain /refill made it a lot better and i never noticed ever again. I only used Toyota as it is only a couple of miles from where i live all my other things servicing etc is done at Lexus Sheffield Robert -
Hi All Would it be possible to wire the side lights to come on when ign turned on I like the concept of DLR but i dont like the garish Led clusters that some cars Have esp Audi. I wouldnt dream of fitting extra Light module as it would spoil the look of my 450. I did fit a LED bulb in the sidelight and it does light the reflector up well and is visible during day. I know i could switch just side lights on for normal running but knowing me i would end up with a flat battery. I am sure someone must have done it some where Thanks Robert

From what i learnt from sheffield you have to buy the key and that came to 125 but as the maps are on the Techstream they are free So my bill was just 125 it seems some dealers charge what they think they can getaway with Give Lexus sheffield a ring see what they quote you then tell your dealer why the difference

i too noticed this and after research this is what i found out from 0 to 80 is first phase then goes into second phase over 80 it then stops in this phase all the time unless you drop below 35 if you do it drops back to first phase and the cycle is repeated in essence nothing to worry about perfectly normal as designed by Lexus so what i have read if you on motorway and go over 80 then as long as you dont drop below 35 you will be in the second phase of gearing which should [ give better fuel economy] or so i am led to belieive i hardly notice mine much as i dont go over 80 very often

Hi I have had the Goodyear Eagle Assy 3 fitted all round just got back from a 180ml round trip boy what a pleasure it was steering seemed sharper and was noisless well pleased 127 per corner fully fitted balanced etc the shake i had at 80 all gone running as smooth as silk It did run ok before until it hit 80 which in all fairness is my limit but i did take it past 80 just briefly and still ok so am well pleased and the skate board feeling completley gone thanks ryanns and all who advised Robert

thanks all for your replies i do feel humbled However you may think i am being rather stupid Right i bought the car from a car dealer i noticed that the fronts were a bit down so commented on it " No problem ill will fit a new pair on front " the rears had about 6 mm on so i though ye ok but they were called JinHu never heard of those Any way sure enough he put me some tyres on i could see they were new so did the deal However i only ever go around 75 80 and a fortnight later was on the m1 doing around 75 and the car was shaking a bit wheel balance says I so i took it to my local tyre dealer who rebalance front as they were out and went on to say DIMAX these are not very good tyres he also showed me on the balancing m/c one of the tyres was egg shaped he went on to say if its still same sir it will be this tyre. On trying car it seemed ok the slightest shudder Last week i went to lexus dealer to get sat nav updated and i was a little behind time so i eased on a little and got up to 85 and shudder was back but more than that it was like driving a skate board I asked Lexus to check my suspension and they said nothing wrong but said more than likely the tyres also you have two different makes of tyres we would not reccomend JinHU let alone DIMAX RADAR They said run them for a while but dont go too fast with a wry smile. I thought there and then these are coming off I have ordered 4 GOODYEAR ASSY 3 £117 each so i am throwing away 2 New front DIMAX and 2 nearly new JINHU wife had said leave them on just dont go too fast Ye I know if my son borrows car then what. So am i being naively Stupid?? sorry for the long post As to the Vredestein i had a set on my Omega Elite a few years ago and they were brilliant Robert
