Anyone know where I can source a genuine s/h lexus one?

I take it this is the SE? If it is...then prob around the £10k mark in my opinion.

I have a july 2005 SE nav with 38k on the clock & got offered 9k as a trade in against a new one.

Had my car broken into at the weekend (2005 model), but they managed to get in without breaking a window or door lock - anyone had a similar experience or hear of similar?, I'm just concerned that my car has no security now.

very nice bit of kit i'm waiting on a sample being sent through from suppliers should be here saturday qouted 137 all round let me know if anyone can get better oh and once i'm done with the sample carbon ill be happy to pass it on to anyone else who may be intrested

I'd be VERY interested, As I think the wood trim lets the car down.

when I asked about changing when I orderd the car they quoted me £2.5-3k for the 400 upgrade to aluminium!!

I think the dealer is taking the Pi$$, and the upfront discount was a few hundred £££s, will not be buying another Lexus that's for sure. I'm swaying back towards german cars. I've decided to keep the car and have just bought a old 911 RS instead :D

I've just been looking at changing my 14 month old RX 300SE navigator, mint condition 9,218 miles on the clock (cost just a tad over 38k) for a 400h.

Best price the Lexus will give me is 18k as a trade in!

Think this will be my last Lexus, previous IS300 sportcross plummented as well, but not as much 50% when just over a year old - Looks like I'll be going Audi Q7 for next car as they offered 26k

1st service last week, car just done 8k was £197 (labour 75 + VAT), but I did get replacement set of wheels under warranty

I'm after the rear spoiler for RX - the black plastic part that sits on top of the tailgate and houses the rear hi-level brake lamp.

Lexus quoted £581+VAT, but it surely ain't worth £670 excl the brake light!!

Any guidance on cheaper or good 2nd hand replacements greatly appreciated

must admit I think the standard UK spec grille on the RX is cheap and tacky - anyone fitted any aftermarket ones as per/similar to l-tunedparts website?

seems a bit prices to get from USA and ship across - any UK outlets?

Had two sets replaced on the IS300 within 19,000 miles & now looks like the RX wheels are blistering up at the edges 4,000 miles.

reg is 2 DLO, suppose it would come cheaper if you didn't want the number

as a side note, if anyone is looking for a good 996 C2, freind of mine has moved to Norway and has a 2000 model with 38k on the clock sitting in his garage which he needs to get rid of. full porsche service history, 18" turbo alloys and (estimated) 4k private plate on it 1 number & 3 letters.

I think he'd let it go for £28k as he's no requirement for it in Norway

Mid/Late 2005 SE navigator model, 4,300 miles, MINT codition and 'best' trade in price was 11k less than what I paid for it!! in August last year :o

I would like eventually like to do the same type of upgrade, BUT, if the RX300 looses tooooo much I'll maybe downsize. Getting fed up with the depreciation losses on all cars and thinking that best way to limit it will be to buy a cheaper car :(

you might be right fergy - I love the RX but would like to change every 2 years but if they ain't going to hold their price - might just keep and sell the other car (not for a Lexus!)

I should have know as my 2 year old IS300 sportcross got 55% of what it cost new when I traded it in

Going in this weekend to trade my 53 RX300SE (12K miles) in for an '06 SC430 so hope I get a decent price.

keep you're eyes peeled on eBay - there was a brand new one sold for £55 not too long ago

Shame really as I was thinking of an upgrade to either the 350 or 400h but since my cars only done 4k - would be too much of a delta to change since I paid just over 38k with all the extras!!

Are RX300 prices hitting the floor since the RX350 is on it's way. :duh:

mate of mine just got a '04 RX300 SE for 20.5k - still with some dealer warranty!!

are these upgrade disks available from Lexus or aftermarket?

Glad this has been posted - as I often have to move the car 1-2metres to get the back door open for putting the kids in the back (due to trees on our street) - as for driving without a seat belt no.

If you mean not tilting this will not happen with the left/right switch in the central position, other than that please elaborate on the problem.

Yip passengers side mirror doesn't fully tilt when you engage reverse (with the mirror switch in the correct position) - amy ideas car is only 4 months old

Anyone had any problems with RX mirrors sticking when in engaging reverse??

I've tried Blackcircles but I don;t think £258 is a competetive price.

Last set I got (from an independent - which has now been bought over my a multi-national) was £168 - only 16 months ago
