  1. I see the real speed trought OBD bluetooth with Hybrid Assistant app , AFAIK speedo has to read a higher value for law rules.
  2. I suggest AOMEI Partition Wizard.
  3. About reading real V on battery, it's possible for few seconds as I described in recent post.
  4. I use a USB 2 port charger connected to cigarette lighter plug that shows V and temperature. Warning: when your hybrid car is on you don't see the real 12V battery V but the charging V provided by system, usually 14,3 V till battery is almost totally charged. The REAL 12V battery voltage can be seen only few seconds before complete system start. Here typical V related to charge in 12 V battery
  5. During change from winter to summer tyres it happened a sensor fail to my RX too, usually it's internal battery to change (cheaper solution but it require some DIY skills), my tyre repairer used a not original programmable sensor copying code from failed one to new. An alternative solution is to buy one already coded and programming it's code on car receiver using an app like Carista.
  6. It sounds odd to me. I drive a 2016 RX 450h and auto low beam works dimming only in "slices" where vehicles are present keeping high beam all around (and you see the indicator on anyway while oncoming cars are not disturbed). The switching speed is not a problem AFAIK, provided oncoming vehicles have lights on 🙂
  7. Here the Lexus link with FAQs Lexus Link Connected Services | Lexus Europe
  8. Another difference is given by short traits, first minutes of use are most fuel consuming ones, mpg are better in long distance trips.
  9. Sport mode is not the best for fuel sparing, try using normal or ECO. Another suggestion with high temperatures is to use AC to keep HV battery pack in good temperature range, and a recommendation to verify good air ventilation trough it. You should hear hv battery fan only with cabin at high temperature; usually I set my AC to 24 Celsius degrees.
  10. Slightly better, around 43 with mine. You can give a look to spritmonitor and see the range users obtained. Consumption: Lexus - GS 300h - Spritmonitor.de
  11. You can remove them extracting from cradle on rear of seats while pressing the button under it; I took off them and put apart for when I will give my RX to a new owner (hopefully not soon).
  12. Having a phone cell with NFC, I suggest a gravity holder so to have no need of a magnetic plate on rear that could potentially give problem in NFC .
  13. It is exactly like my GS300h, I still miss it. Traded in for my RX because of V6 nostalgy. Great car.
  14. In my experience with RX, Sport mode forces thermal engine to stay ON even at low speed, probably to be ready to give power if needed in fast acceleration; at higher constant speed, when engine is already on, mpg are not different from normal mode. In ECO mode, mpg are a bit better because this mode use other strategies to limit energy waste, like AC management and a "sleepy" performance. My usual mode is Normal, as when I set Sport mode I like to have some fun not considering fuel spare.
