  1. I'd love to drive my lex in the snow^ I should've bought winter tyres but I think I've found something even better to combat winter driving.... A Citreon Saxo!! About the same price too, £500 for winters or £500 for a Saxo! Honestly this Saxo today was amazing in the snow. We got everywhere, even up hills in rural Wiltshire! And this is the brilliant Saxo with a couple of examples of the roads we were on. My car wouldn't stand a chance.
  2. Yeah anything is possible. Question is, do you have the time, patience and expertise to take this on?
  3. Post a pic of your key. We'll tell you if it's the master or not :) Yes you need a master to code other keys. If you don't have a master your in all kinds of dooda! :(
  4. I looked at a 2001 IS200 Sport a year ago with only 32k on the clock. I found a few under 60k but they were out of my price range! They are out there!
  5. Lol that'll be the car park by the cop shop in chipp mate yeah? Had the same thought
  6. Not going anywhere my Lex. Got a lift to work with my mate in his Saxo! Lol, great car on the snow. Little dinky 13inch wheels, FWD cut through the white stuff easy :) My driveway to the main road... No chance!!
  7. Prob not but it's still only just run in ;)
  8. Well that's what their saying. Glad I don't live there anymore
  9. Agreed. But there's a red weather warning in place where my mum lives saying we could have 15-20cm! Here's a pic of my street when I was 6 years old, last red snow warning my mum can remember......
  10. Hi and Welcome :) Not too far from me either. We go to Weymouth a lot in the summer. Oh and by the way your car will already have iridium plugs fitted as standard. It needs iridium plugs. Can't hurt to change them tho. Their due to be changed every 60k :)
  11. Tell you what if, I can get it to work then yes lots of fun to be had. Empty hotel car park in the snow! Sounds like brilliant
  12. Too late to get winters now. Will def be sorting it out by next November! Prob get a set of 16's! If the snow comes as bad as they say it will then my car will be going nowhere!
  13. Dude this thread is 2 years old!!! Think he prob found a garage by now
  14. See I told you the toolbar to change the links didn't come up on iPad or iPhone! Haha
  15. I really don't want it to snow. Nothing here yet either. Makes getting to work a nightmare for me as I work out in the sticks where they don't grit the roads :(
  16. No that's not what we're on about lol When you pull away in first and leave the clutch out the pedal judders or vibrates. Shouldn't be happening from 1st to 2nd and making your car kangaroo!
  17. Now that's brilliant! Never seen an IS work in the snow before
  18. Your problem goes way beyond internal sensors by the sound of it. :(
  19. I was hoping no one would bid. It's not on "buy it now" or I would. Didn't want to spend more than £100 but I really want an arm rest now! Might just stretch the extra £25 but I've seen them go for over £150 when people start bidding.
  20. Ahhh Ian I'd spotted that! Was trying to keep it quiet.
  21. Oh right yeah if it goes off when you lock it with the key then it's more than just the sensors as it shouldn't be arming. Think that's what Steve was getting at^ Stupid me!
  22. If you lock the car manually with the key then the alarm doesn't arm.
