    I don't know which cylinder is number 4 but the misfire will be a coil pack I reckon not a spark plug. They normally fail in pairs as well so your prob gonna get another go down. Member IanS200 had some for sale very cheap. Their about £100 each from lexus.

    Yeah Matt seen lots if sets on eBay and the like. That's going to be my problem as well, I can't stand my car looking tatty. You got yours really cheap :) I was thinking of spending double that! I was also thinking of getting 16"s as tyres will be cheaper but I just can't have my car on dinky wheels Ray I promise you that the Aero's are yours free of charge in the following circumstances:- I win the lottery Hell freezes over good luck with that

    Yes the LE models from 2004-2005. Also IS300 was full leather on every car made and the seats are exactly the same so will fit an IS200 :)

    I believe the parcel shelf speakers are 4 speakers in 2 housings. I may be wrong tho... I've read other members saying they have a 'buzz' in their speakers, mine doesn't!

    Wouldn't it make sense to have a general Lexus meet? Get more people that way, besides I know what an IS200 is like inside and out as I own one. I'd like to see some LS, GS, RX, SC :)

    Hi and welcome. :) That's what it does. It's just a rough idea not accurate. It's not a computer as in other cars where it gives a accurate mpg read out. It'll go towards 0 when you Accelerate, hover about 30-40 when cruising and drop to 80 when going down a hill or of you take your foot of the throttle completely.

    Yeah that's what I thought Ray! Nobody will be buying them then, should get a good deal. Also on the hunt for a set of 17's to put on next winter. Gonna refurb my Aero's in the summer :)

    Hi. What model IS do you have? The SE, Sportscross and Sport models came with a 8 speaker system. The S model only a 6 speaker system. I don't know wattage sorry by knowledge on anything electrical is limited In my opinion the speakers in my IS are the best I've ever had in any car and I don't see an advantage to me at least in changing them.

    Drove home on my summer tyres tonight. It's been snowing all afternoon so slush everywhere! TRC off, don't activate snow mode and it's so much FUN!!! Best drive I've had home in a while. Any more snow tho and my car will be useless again. 100% getting a set of winter tyres next year. I'd prob buy them now if I could afford it but after Xmas I don't have the money and the wife said no more savings are to be spent on the car and she's hidden the credit card

    Hi. Well my traction control makes absolutely no noise when it kicks in, not that I've noticed anyway. I've never had strange sounds from the rear. As for the lumpy steering I experience this in the cold as do a lot of members if u do a quick search. I got mine checked at Lexus, they say pump is fine, fluid good and belt correct tension. So I'm just putting mine down to not liking the cold! As your fluid is below minimum I suggest you top it up. Dexron ii or iii is needed. Dex ii is blue and dex iii is red so just match the colour that's already in yours but it is ok to mix and match :)

    You don't have a fan belt as the rad fans are electrically driven. A loose alternator belt will give those symptoms, I've had it before but it never went when the car was warm. My power steering belt squeals first thing in the morning at low temps then disappears once warm. It's brand new and correct tension so I'm just putting it down to it not liking the cold or at worst power steering pump is giving up :( Yours Could just need tightening/loosening, always first thing to check when you get a squeeling belt. But if your worried its only £55 at Lexus to replace all 3 belts :)

    When I got my spare from Lexus it was a 3 buttoned master key :) I don't think the SportCross had a 3 button key as the boot is not remotely operated. If I'm wrong. . . Well, that would be odd? Yeah I think your right. You'll get a 2 buttoned master key :)
