  1. Haha^ Keep me updated if your screen leaks! Lol... I've been putting off having mine done. The crack hasn't got any bigger but I know I need to sort this!
  2. That's a nice touch, granted. Compare the service to Lexus Bristol. If I call them, and the person I need is not available, they promise to call me back. That call always comes within 30 mins. Also when I call Lexus Bristol they answer the phone by greeting me with my name which shows they store customer numbers on the phone system and use caller ID. Just a nice little touch, Cardiff could learn from them.
  3. Yeah that's right that was a horror story. What gets me above everything else with Lexus Cardiff is if u call then and the person you need to speak to isn't available, they take your number with a promise to call back. That phone call never comes... FAIL on rule no1 of customer service which Lexus are supposed to be world famous for.
  4. Ha I got one of these through the post....
  5. If I did a mini review on Cardiff Lexus is get banned from the forum for excessive bad language.... Lol!! I get angry just thinking about that shower of s*#t down there...
  6. Apologies for the double post.... AGAIN!! Every time I use the forum on my mobile....
  7. Nice selection of Yank tanks As for beating the IS-F drivers in your pick up... Is that only until you have to go round a corner?
  8. I actually think this is the most asked question about the IS......
  9. I just put the silver tipped normal bulbs in mine. They look fantastic :) No messing about with LED or relays, just a straight swap. Dead easy!
  10. Thanks for the replies guys. I found some OEM on fleabay, brand new for £45 for the pair. Think I'll order them. Thanks again :)
  11. Hi everybody. I went to see Tony at WIM yesterday. Unfortunatly he couldn't apply his geometry settings as both my front lower control arm bushings have gone. Lexus don't seem to sell just the bushes by themselves and want to sell me the entire lower control arm and bushings at £130 each. I found these online and they seem like a good deal. What do you guys think? I can just buy these and get my mate who's a mechanic to fit them for a 1/3 of the price Lexus are charging. http://www.fensport.co.uk/Parts/Model_63/Category_2/3251
  12. I have a similar problem. My car sometimes has a mind of its own. It will veer off in one direction and then in another direction. I went to WIM yesterday to see Tony and my control arm bushes have gone! Might be worth a check.
  13. I remember an AA man getting my wheels off a few years ago on my Primera after I'd lost the locking wheel nut. I was very grateful and tried to tip him £20 but he wouldn't take it. Top bloke...
  14. I got the dealer to do it but I'm sure it's not that hard for somebody who knows car electrics and alarms. Be sure to tell your insurance company if you do ;)
  15. Yeah but if they're faulty who's to say they are disarming. All I'm saying is a lot of people have had problems with the alarm all with different symptoms but disconnecting the interior roof sensor seems to fix it for most including me. My alarm would still go off if I double locked. I had lots of problems with my alarm when I first got the car. As for the 5 flashes, if all doors including the boot and bonnet aren't closed properly it won't flash 5 times. I had this problem. I knew all doors and boot were closing properly so it had to be the bonnet. I finally found how to get it to flash 5 times by luck. By bonnet was bouncing all over the place when doing 40mph+. I adjusted the rubber grommits under the bonnet that cushion the closing of the bonnet. They screw into the metal either side above the headlights. I screwed these in a little so the bonnet closed flusher and stopped bouncing. It also cured the 5 flashing problem.
  16. I saw them. They weren't in the best condition but I think they went too cheap! Got a bargain.
  17. http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/index.php?showtopic=63070&view=&hl=&fromsearch=1 This thread might help. According to my handbook double locking deadlocks the doors and dis arms the interior sensor and arms the alarm. Single lock arms the alarm and interior sensors but doesn't deadlock
  18. The car does have interior sensors. It's common for them to go faulty. You can get them replaced but they're quite pricey or you can disconnect them for free but you might invalidate your insurance.
  19. Lexmanic said he was coming with his wife didnt he? My wife don't wanna know mate! Lol...
  20. So what's with the Facebook "like" option now appearing? How does this work and are we liking the post or the user? Thanks Chris :)
  21. Just bought these after seeing your video. Thanks for the vid and link. Nice 1 :)
